Seriously! What an asinine excuse for not paying attention while driving.

I haven't experienced this but have come across some info when doing research for other issues. I usually try to rely on the sites I know are accurate (medical sites) but here's one that pulls together several pieces of info: http://www.ehow.com/about_5382038_white-stool-children.html Good luck and keep us posted!

My heart goes out to you...

I just went back to work after my maternity leave ended. I had a C-section and got 8 weeks paid medical leave via short-term disability plus I took 1 week of vacation.

I'm agonizing over this myself. I don't really want the nasal version b/c it's a live virus but I've been considering the shot if/when it's available. I originally wasn't considering either one b/c of the rushed production, but supposedly the only thing that's different from the regular flu vax is the strain, which is changed every year anyway. I feel like it's, "How much do you trust the government?" And that's a derned if you do, derned if you don't situation!

Has anyone ever done a short sale on their home?

Good for you!!! Being debt free will take a tremendous weight off your shoulders!! Good luck with the short sale. -
And you really can't start the self-checks too early. I got news yesterday of a young mother (in her mid 20's with a 1 year old daughter) who just found out she has breast cancer. Another friend in her mid 30's went through it a couple of years ago. Reminds me to be more diligent about my self-checks. My thoughts are with anyone who has had or whose loved ones have had cancer.

Thank you - they are open

Thank you ma'am! Peggy's profile shows 9/22 so I wasn't sure if the last couple of days affected them much.
-
Anyone happen to know if they were open yesterday? I didn't think to call during business hours and I'm not sure if it's convenient for them to be open considering the boil water advisory. I have an appt today and will be running errands beforehand. TIA!

Hubby and I see Dr. Denton - love her! She's very nice and takes time to understand why you're there. I've also heard good things about Dr. Orquia. They're both in the practice by DQ on Dallas Hwy (across from the Avenue).

Tadpole's in Kennesaw may if you're ever out that way; I know they buy them but I don't know how much they have right now. Barrett Pkwy in the strip mall behind Olive Garden.

Justin does beautiful work. We haven't had him pressure wash our house yet, but he detailed my car last year. He did an amazing job! Very nice, honest and conscientious.
-
Allon Salon - they rock! I see Peggy (need to make an appt soon myself), but I've heard Sue is good, too. http://www.allonsalon.net/

Dang! I'd heard of doing this but had no idea it would capture that much water! Definitely something I need to look into....err, have hubby look into.

For mattresses, I recommend Original Mattress Factory. Their prices beat ones I've seen anywhere else and they're still the double-sided type - supposedly last longer. As far as the furniture part (frame, headboard, etc.), have you tried Woodstock Furniture Outlet?

No, I don't intend to excuse abusive behavior in any case. I don't understand how anyone could do some of the things I've read about recently....it turns my stomach. There just seems to be a lot of discussion about leaving a 12 yo in the car with a baby. When I read about 20 something, 30 something, 40 something (etc. etc.) people abusing, torturing, murdering children or plain reacting out of anger like this 12 yo did, it comes down to more than age. The question is, how do you STOP this kind of behavior? (True and serious question....)
-
IMO this has very little to do with age. Adults do this kind of thing (and worse) to children all the time.

My gosh, people like this are SICK!!!!

Hubby and I use Quicken but don't use the check print feature. The Deluxe edition does offer that, though (the "standard" edition might as well, but I don't know for sure). Fwiw, we like Quicken.

Yancy Brothers? They're a Caterpillar equipment dealer. Looking for some "inside" info / feedback on them. TIA!

Holy cow, that's from just outside my hometown! Niiiice! Poor thing....

Hubby and I noticed that and laughed! It's not just the Hiram location, though. All the ones we've seen (Marietta, Smyrna) have done the same.
