We were very dissapointed with NCL in that regard. We were on the Norwegian Dream. Everywhere you went, you had to walk through a smoke filled casino that had such thick air that you had to literally hold your breath. It was worse than the tear gas chamber in Basic Training at Lackland AFB.

He should take a mulligan.

If a Disney excursion is late getting back to the boat, you are OK. If you hop onto shore and run with "Juan's Casa of Excursions" you might wanna bring your passport so you can get a flight to the next spot where the ship stops. What if you prefer porpoises?

WellStar to unveil plans for new Paulding hospital Sept. 2
AnonyMoose replied to AustinPlantation's topic in RECENT TOPICS
What (if anything) is wrong with the existing hospital? I sure hope Paulding County taxpayers don't have to pay for any of this new facility. -
1. Disney Cruises do not have smoke-filled gambling casinos throughout the ship like all of the other companies do. Instead that large amount of ship's space is used for theatres (movies and plays run 24x7). 2. There seems to be three levels or so of cruise lines. There are discount ships (Carnival, Celebrity, Costa, Princess, Royal Caribbean, Crystal). There are the mid-quality ships (Disney, Norwegian, Holland America). And lastly there are obscenely priced luxury lines (Cunard, Radisson). I tend to stick with the mid-quality cruises (I have been on a half dozen of the one-week cru

Anybody switching from Comcast to DirecTV?

My family is so disgusted with Bellsouth DSL that they want to switch to cable. -
Is that where people go to discard used spines?

The radicals of any religion have an agenda - the extermination of the people they radicallty hate. Today's enemy of peace is Al-Qaida; but I would venture a guess that radical groups like them have been around since men walked out of caves and realized the cave next to them was nicer and could hold more mammoth meat. The Roman Catholics and their Crusades that ran about 500 years - were those nutcases any better than today's Al-Qaida or the governments of Saudi Arabia and Syria? I was going to mention Iran in that previous sentence since their President is a complete fruit loop, but it

That ain't the hole it left from. -
Of course they have an agenda. It's to build a Mosque in a location that is available and desirable, and that meets their budget. Same reason any religious congregation builds a church somewhere. If a Government agency stands in the way of this Mosque then Bin Laden won - we lost our rights that were clearly detailed in the USC and Amendments. Might as well start telling religions to move their churches to the north pole and turn the country into a totalitarian dictatorship that executes entire races in gas chambers (Godwin not invoked).

Teacher's Assignment to HS Students: Plan a Deadly Terror Attack

Once God gave us J-Lo, we didn't need to use our imagination anymore. -
In the Philippines the big thing is shotguns. Each cop gets a shotgun. Well, and a pistol of course. And there are cops everywhere. Every ATM, every restaurant, every store. Had it not been for this homicide, I would say there is hardly any crime at all other than petty crimes. Not only is North Luzon safe, but the people are the friendliest people on earth. Everyone is Roman Catholic and very Americanized. Conversely the south half of the country we are not allowed to go to. It's 100% Muslim in the south, and the big thing down there (beyond terrorist attacks of course)is somethi

I assume you mean back on PCOM and not Lungsod ng Angeles (formerly Clark Air Force Base). Thanks. Moving on from crime to food (since I am hungry right now), they cook up you choice of a giant rat from the rice fields (like a rabbit in USA) or a chicken from a farm (same as USA) and sell them on a stick for 100 pesos. That even comes with pickled papaya on the side. That would probably be the equivalent of about 2 bucks American.

I was recently talking to a cop at an ATM machine in Makati (it's the business portion of Manila for the most part) and he said the reason there was no crime here is because there are so many cops. It's true that there are a gazillion cops; but I am convinced that it was because the Government wanted to give out tons of jobs with the money they are fed from places like USA. Now it turns out a cop went nuts and killed a busload of Chinese tourists. BTW - here is the cop I was talking to (hope the picture comes out correctly):

Pissed. What parent has the time to help their kid build a thermonuclear warhead? I don't even like it when they ask me to help make a solar system with coat hangers, paint, and styrofoam balls. And where in the world would I even find 35,000 centrifuges and a few pounds of yellow cake? -
I usually beep my car alarm once, then walk 10 feet and wonder if I remembered to set it. So that's twice. Now someone with Obsessive-compulsive Disorder (OCD) might beep it 100 times.......

Could be worse, bud. Walking outside at 5 AM in Manila and it's still 80 degrees and a billion percent humidity. And for the folks that live in poverty, no A/C, showers, etc.

That's a good thing. We pay way too much for diamond encrusted Rolexes in USA.

Michael Phelps goes through something like 12,000 to 15,000 calories a day. I'm pretty sure someone had to pay for it before he became a mega-millionaire.
