Just another reason not to fully trust the local legal system
OldGoat99 replied to OldGoat99's topic in RECENT TOPICS
Update to the original post.... It took about 15 phone calls to the various agencies to get this straightened out. My wife made 3 or 4 trip to the various departments and the wrong information has finally been removed and shows as a clean record as it should. Now I do give credit to them for continuing to keep trying to get the system to take the data as it should be in the system and the various people in charge had a heck of a time getting it corrected properly. It appears the system has some flaws that were relayed to my wife. I would put it this way to ANYONE that has gotten -

I guess once something bad happens we are supposed to forget it. huh bet the family has not forgotten it... Then you can say all people like you are naive? I would love to see numbers on how many bad cops and how many are censured in Atlanta each year... Wait they don't keep numbers on that stuff? WHY? -

You have a naive view of the law and the system. That is a fact. I bet some how you think the 92 year old women had it coming to her some how too? -

At least someone read the story and understands this should have been corrected properly years ago. Unlike many other folks that just missed the point many many times. Too many folks on here still think the world is Mayberry and have no clue as to what the real world is like. -

Yes I do when they over do their job and don't do their job your just naive in to believe they are perfect. One day you will take your blinders off and see the real world. But for now live in your make believe world... where cops and the legal system is perfect. You will have to deal with it one day and realize how many problems they have. But for now... keep living with your mind closed. The problem witch you missed like a lot of others on here is reading the story and not putting two and two together... I want half of you to really deal with the legal system, then ma -

Well there is some truth to the bashing, but then again there is truth to abuse.. to them going beyond their use of force and power on people. So you get both.... The problem is many people feel wronged in many ways by the system and expect it to be fair and pretty honest and very accurate. Problem is the system is flawed, the system does have a notable percent of those that abuse the power and the system is by far not fair. Then there are those that think the police are perfect and if you complain you are in the wrong.... I personally love the on board camera in a -

Must be time for a pay raise or possible patrol reduction.. they need to up the county coffers I guess. Cobb county ticket machine at work.... It is a serious racket over their and I just cruise on by and wave....
-
As most would say go to court and ask for a reduced fine. some say suck it up and pay it, you did the crime.. I say take them to court and waste their time and get some court time for your money...

I blame the court system for not doing their job in the first place and closing this out and now it is an issue for him and might have caused him jobs due to them not doing their part of their job.. So don't go putting this on him for them not doing their job. He did his part as far as his time etc. They did not do their job and created more issues then should have been. -

Yes that is is... they could not even get the charge correct when they first did the paperwork... He did like 40hrs community service at the Coke plant south of hwy 20 turned in the paperwork etc etc.. The county never did their job and never did it correctly.. That is the whole problem. God help you or your kids if they get in some minor scrape... who know what they will do.. I just don't trust the system to do thing right... probably never will. I fit in the OJ might be not guilty syndrome group now.. -

Me and the county will be having some serious talks tomorrow. I will be asking for supervisors to get this fixed. This most likely has hurt his job searches due to them screwing things up like this. The system is bad, but when something this little gets hosed over , now I can see how bigger items get really screwed up. I really feel for guys wrongly put in jail now. Please keep an open mind and close scrutiny when dealing with the system as they think everyone is guilty first. Just look at Surepips BS they are doing with him... -

I agree with you... but they have him listed as an adult at age 14... yes they know it is wrong in the system... they just can't get it right. The torn the plastic cover off the front... he didn't actually do any of it, just was there... I think it they go by amount of cost damage to access the level of the crime. -
Is it better to go with a 6 or 12 month fixed rate?
OldGoat99 replied to brown*eyed*girl's topic in RECENT TOPICS
well you have basically two options 6 months and the warmer weather will be here and the odds are the price will go up since gas and oil are really for the most part low now. 12 months and get locked in and then maybe get stuck this time next year with a higher rate then if you got one in 6 months. slight gamble here Tough call as to what is best since it is the winter time now. I would lock in and be safe for a year and see what is the rate when you ar up for renewal then. At leas then you get a full year at a goo rate then. good luck. -
I am just one really ticked off person about the legal system and the lack of people doing their job. I know they get paid pretty poorly and I gather that is why they do a half arse job. First the issue.... Son was involved in a minor damage to a coke machine 7 years ago. He did some community service like the other 8 kids involved. We thought all was properly posted and taken cares off.... Nope we were stupid we trusted the system... Last year we found out it was listed as a felony by the county although he had this issue when he was 14years old and less then $200 damage was done

Found my sister in law and my moms name Cool -
I think both calls were good. Colts had school kids for defense.. I think the onside kick was questionable with the 10 yards.... but a great idea It boiled down to defense and the colt D stunk... real bad.

The house is in Tampa about 15 min from the beach and I would keep it if it made sense to keep it. I just hate the lack of info from the agent. She stinks.... I would fire her if I could... Current house listing: http://www.floridamobilehomesinc.com/or/index.php?action=listingview&listingID=148

I have my Parents home in Fl that we are trying to sell and for the most part we are not thrilled with the agent. Now we have the forms and it still looks a bit shoddy, can some one that has done this (perfer an agent) look the forms over and tell me if this look ok or not? Thanks.

MJ's Doctor Charged with Involuntary Manslaughter
OldGoat99 replied to afriendlygeek's topic in RECENT TOPICS
I doubt he serves time and doubt is all over the place. But the Jackson family does have a lot pf power, so he could lose his licence and do some BS time. But I am surprised the Jackson want MJ's medical history out for the public. -
Ok, how about looking at this on the flip side.... TV adds are put out there to make you think of the subject and buy the product. So did this add make you think about the product? Oh yes just look at this thread. Are people talking about the add and the subject on the media and with neighbors? Oh yes So although it was expensive it has done what a lot of other small add will most likely fail to do.. So in the long run it actually did what it was supposed to do and get people talking about the census. Expensive yes, but it worked and that is what a tv add is suppose

Saints played a better game and the Colts looks like kids out there when it came to defense. I loved the on side kick that they did as the 2 point conversion... well done
