Well if the turning lanes were setup properly and a bit longer. There would be fewer Gore areas and less violations of the gore. I sometimes wonder if the DOT creates accident / ticket areas by poor planning. The police, know the areas that are most likely to have violators and use it for multiple reasons. Think about it..... DOT knows the flaws, the police know it too and they exploit the nature of people (that hate traffic and dealing with poor DOT planning) the only winner is the county coffers. If half the effort that is put into complaining about smokers were put towards drunks , and there are a lot of drunks. I would like to see them triple the alcohol tax. I like the protests. most are very peaceful and few are having issues. I also tend to side with the individual, then the cop on this one. No video proof on either side, ..... kind of surprising. I have had it with these scams......and junk calls.... So I play like I am interested now an just play along sometimes. Also I do think the little business does get hurt with Credit card fees that they have little or no choice to take. How many people use checks now a days? I would bet it has gone down considerably. I use Verio and they will let you manage the pointers so that you can actually use a home PC as the server. I have used them for 10+ years and I don't have to pay for someone else to host my web site. Just a FYI that Comcast and other ISP providers do not really like you hosting your own web site. But as long as you don't get stupid amounts of hits they don't care. I get about 2-3000 hits a month son both my sites. Comcast has never said a thing and I run a server. Costs me about $12 a year (I think).

But there are folks on here that will try and convict someone on a news story. So when someone is arrested I keep a very open eye on all the information and stories. We have a good system, but it still has some serious flaws. Think about justice 20, 30 or even 50 years ago. How fair do you think it really was back then? We like to think it was very fair.... but it wasn't in reality.

I wish the placards were had a little more info on them. Like elderly or something that indicates the person with the medical condition, my reason is that I see lots of what appears to be very young healthy people getting out of cars that have the placard. I actually asked one person and they said it was for their grandma and since they had the card they would use it when she was not with her.
