Where is the United Nations these days?
markdavd replied to marvinthemartian's topic in RECENT TOPICS
Read the quotes from Democrats in this article from the HUFFPOST and remember them every time a lib brings up racism. I believe all many of them are just trying to show their public mask on the topic. http://www.huffingtonpost.com/the-relentless-conservative/the-democratic-partys-two_b_933995.html -
The problem is they didn't predict it when we were first told the science was 'settled.' We were told that the climate was going to get hotter and hotter and winters were going to be a thing of the past. They found out the 'settled' models were wrong and had to re-do them. The only logical question is what else do they have wrong. (I know liberals don't do logic, so that's a slily question.)
-
If the science was 'settled' why do they have to keep changing the name? There is now a movement among warmists to change it to 'Climate Disruption' because that sounds more ominous than Climate Change.

It's not someone from Paulding Ohio was it? Pubby's brought up the possibility of selling this one to them. (I don't think he was serious.)

For some reason Cobb had changed their schedule a few months ago and were scheduled to be in session President's Day.

Port workers union holds US economy hostage
markdavd replied to The Sound Guy's topic in RECENT TOPICS
When talking about Unions, I believe a distinction must be made between TRADE unions and LABOR unions. They are two different things. Labor unions have no problems putting an employer out of business rather than give in. Look at what happened to Hostess. -
It appears no aircraft involved with Williams' flight came under fire: Pilot of Brian Williams flight: All that hit us was dust The helicopter that was hit was part of another unit and was the ground and shut down when he got there. His flight was grounded because of a dust storm. Even more questions about his credibility: Did Brian Williams lie in Hurricane Katrina reports? New questions for NBC star over report he saw a 'body floating by' in the French Quarter - which was spared flooding - and that he suffered unlikely dysentery Read more: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/arti

If credibility means anything to NBC News, he will be gone by the end of the week. All he had to do 12 years ago was admit he was not in the helicopter that was shot down. Very simple.Instead he's allowed the world to think he's some kind of hero' He was on Ltterman in 2013 and it appears that even after 10 years, this was still a topic he liked to discuss. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GwtxVjNVDBU

I found it interesting that they had to send it to Canada for testing. I read an article yesterday saying that these were non-approved tests that look strictly for DNA and not the chemical compounds extracted from the plant materials. As I understand it, when they extract the chemical compounds from the plants, the DNA is lost. If they didn't extract the compounds, you'd have to ingest a lot of plant material to get the same effect. The rice, etc. is used to make it easier to encapsulate the compounds.

How Would A 95 Year Old Man Hurt Anyone? WITH HIS CAIN.
markdavd replied to Eddie Bennett's topic in RECENT TOPICS
People are on top of your spelling because sometimes misspelled words become other words. You wrote Cain - which is both a valid word and name. If you really meant cane, you should have used the correct word in the first place. Your last line tells us you did it deliberately. I don't believe that for one second. In my experience, I find those who really care about getting their message across at least attempt to use correct spelling, grammar and sentence structure. If someone doesn't think it worth taking a few seconds to proof their own writing, why should anyone else think it's worth -
Are they saying the 5 terrorists that were released are involved with the killing of the 3 contractors?

Run a test with someone. Start a conversation and after you have a few replies on each side, one of you delete the conversation and see what happens. As they do, watch and see if there is an option to delete both sides.

Climate change. (or as it also called...weather)

97 Articles Refuting The ‘97% Consensus’ on global warming The 97% “consensus” study, Cook et al. (2013) has been thoroughly refuted in scholarly peer-reviewed journals, by major news media, public policy organizations and think tanks, highly credentialed scientists and extensively in the climate blogosphere. The shoddy methodology of Cook’s study has been shown to be so fatally flawed that well known climate scientists have publicly spoken out against it, “The ‘97% consensus’ article is poorly conceived, poorly designed and poorly executed. It obscures the complexities of the climate i -
Assuming it had your address on it with her name, I think you legally need to do a "Return to Sender" with "Not at this Address" written on it. . It may or may not be important, but the sender needs to know she gave them the wrong address. She may be a fine upstanding citizen and a mistake was made somewhere along the line, or this may be part of a scam against whoever sent the letter.

Jerame Reid Killed, In New Jersey, With His Hand Up.

Eddie is so afraid of cops that when Pubby sent cops to check on him back in November I'm surprised he didn't respond in a way to get himself arrested. -
FBI Called In On A Case Of A Beating Death - LOS ANGELES TIMES

Why would something that happened on the West Coast be investigated here? Are there ties to Paulding County? -
Folks - Y'all should know by now that the P.Com Sage from Cherokee has been given free reign around here and has become the de-facto face of P.com. There has to be a reason for this. If you were a visitor to the site looking for Paulding news and information you couldn't help but read all of his wisdom that's plastered on the recent topics page. You would thirst daily for his rambling wisdom and would come back often.

If you believe in evolution and survival of the fittest, what's wrong with the stronger/fittest eliminating the weaker less fit? Wouldn't that be one of the ultimate law of nature?
