If you use the reusable bags, make sure you wash them thoroughly between uses. I've seen studys where they tested the bottom of bags people brought into the stores and found cesspits of germs. Think carrying meat one visit and fruit the next in the same bag.

Congresswoman: Climate Change will turn Women into Prostitutes
markdavd replied to markdavd's topic in RECENT TOPICS
I know. With all the interest in the other Climate Change topic, I figured folks would want to see one of the expected outcomes. -
A Democrat Congresswoman said it so it must be true. In fact, she seems to want to write it into the laws of her state. Women - Y'all need to start preparing yourselves for your new careers! http://www.breitbart.com/big-government/2015/03/26/congresswoman-claims-climate-change-will-turn-women-into-prostitutes/

Those who say we should spend $ Billions setting the example aren't trying to gain anything but economic control. -
environment Sen. Lindsey Graham says climate change is man-made
markdavd replied to gpatt0n's topic in RECENT TOPICS
This science was settled 20+ years ago. Predictions made then for 2000-1014 have come to pass. 1) Why do we need to continue to dump money into settled science? 2) We've seen every one of those predictions come true, so why are we arguing? If we really want to stop it, we must demand that other countries i.e. China, Russia and third world countries get on board. Cutting our carbon emissions to zero will do nothing to help if they continue. We've already set the example so we should put our focus on demanding other counties follow suit! -
Did This Man Have A Weapon, While Walking Naked? Evidently!

Isn't that how most liberal journalists do their job? Tell the facts and get a few paragraphs or make assumptions and get days and days of 'reporting' to do. -

If I were a trained LE, my steps would probably be fairly close to the officers was in this case. From your lack of an answer to this question and your other comments, I can only imagine that you would be COWAring in the patrol car until backup arrived. -
# 22. The lead in the bullets is toxic.

Maybe we're not getting what you're saying. Let's say you're an officer and get the call. You show up in your squad car and the perp isn't immediately visible, so you get out to track down the person who made the call. Explain to everyone step by step what you would.do. Include different actions depending on what actions the perp and/or residents take. -

One flaw in your argument, he apparently already had backup. The article says "When officers arrived, they found the man completely unclothed, in the parking lot" -

So you're saying he should have approached the guy with a one of his weapons already in his hand? -
Did This Man Have A Weapon, While Walking Naked? Evidently!

Skip the naked part. You can't have any of your defense weapons in you hands, they have to be secure in your belt so someone can't easily grab them and use them against you. Also, you only get about two or three seconds warning. If either one of us has you on the ground beating your head into the pavement, we win, even if we have been tazered, peppered or beat with a billy club. -

What percentage of the investigations have determined that if the perp had just obeyed lawful orders, they'd still be alive? -

An unarmed naked man standing around, maybe. A man apparently stoned out of his mind charging at you, not so much. I seem to remember reading somewhere that Tazers, Pepper Spray and Clubs have been proven generally ineffective, against someone stoned out of their mind. Add the fact that he's ignoring lawful orders and charging at you and you have about a second to make a plan and follow through with it. -
Sounds like what Big Lots used to be.

There are people who have no idea what gluten is, but have been duped into believing it's bad for everyone. They are afraid to eat ANYTHING not labeled gluten free.

From observation, I think you have a certain number of likes you can give out in any 24 hour period. If you give out that number, you have to wait until 24 hours after giving a like before you can give one again. If you give one out at 9:00 and the rest at noon, you'll be able to give out one at 9:00 the next day, but will have to wait until noon before giving any more. I hope that makes sense - again it's based on observation of when I'm able to give more likes.

Here it keeps changing between the giant flakes and a very fine rain. The kind of rain that will instantly freeze when it comes into contact with anything 32 degrees or below. My outside thermometer says 30 -

It stopped here too. I did get word that the Dallas Highway Wal*mart is short staffed right now because of workers not wanting to drive in this EPIC snowstorm, so if you do have to get something, be prepared for it to take longer than normal. Remember to be nice to the workers there, it's not their fault their coworkers chickened out. -
While I do agree with most of this, I do have one question. How do y'all propose finding the homeless folks, convincing them to leave the woods (leaving their tents and most belongings behind) and transport them to the shelter, then getting them back to their spot when things clear up?
