I think the number of men out there that understand are more than people might think. A lot of men are molested as children. They go unreported because of the shame. Men are taught to suck it up very young. Many times the victims blame themselves. I can see women caught up in the drug culture blaming themselves if they were already high on something and used bad judgment. Many indulge in sexual fantasies, his fantasy may have been to victimize women. This is no different than victimizing children. If he did this to many women whether they all come forward or not, he needs to be punished.

It is amazing what lengths they will go to, to make sure the money always goes into the same pockets. I am sure that there are threats if it does not.

The Chinese can not breath the air because of the pollution. They closed down the manufacturing facilities for days before a summit they were so ashamed. The good thing, when all their workers die we will be the manufacturing leaders of the world again. We will laugh all the way to the bank until we are frozen over. We live on a planet not a continent. Oil is a dead end street for us just as it was the dinosaurs that created after the ice age. God help future generations they are doomed to become fossil fuel for a greedy generation some day in the future.

I have not shared Kittah's activities for a while. She is the little kitten I bottle fed. She did not grow to normal size, about 6lbs and 4 inches shorter than most cats. She was so funny, she would hide behind the door frames when she heard us coming and literally jump at us chest high and hang on. That is among the many things that got her the name Kittah Cuckoo from us. We shortened to Kittah coo. So here are some cute pictures of her activities over the last few months. I have missed her so much being away. She stays outside all night with my autistic orange tabby. I worry like s

We had this discussion on my fb page. It does not bother me. I had my children in the day when you had to go to the car or restroom to avoid dirty looks. My babies hated a blanket over their heads and would fuss. Muffin tops offend me a lot more. I am so sick of thin shirts over spare tires showing the out line of the squinting belly button. I don't make any effort to disguise the look on my face. You know why? Because I know damn well you have a mirror at home and you are lying to yourself. You need a dose of the truth, that is just plain gross.

What a fine example of the professionals that teach our children. You should hear the stories of business owners and managers that have young people working for them. They see no problem with bringing their personal drama to work with them. They also create drama on the job as though it was the norm. They share personal drama with customers. The list goes on and on. Now we see where they learn about what is and isn't acceptable on the job.

It is not clueless. There needs to be stricter requirements placed for permit. Other than you have not committed a crime yet. The don't mess with me attitude of those that open carry is not comforting to me in any way. I have hugged many a man and felt the weapon under his coat and it never bothers me. Something about swaggering around with it on one's hip is creepy to me. It screams look at me. It is no guarantee that nobody will shoot you, especially in the back if you are going to be in their way of doing something bad, you would probably be the first one shot. It gives many the confidenc

Thank you. I carried for years. Nobody knew it, nobody needed to. I never wanted anyone to see it in my purse.

It always makes me uncomfortable. We aren't requiring people to be screened for personality disorders to carry weapons. Most robberies are simple, guy waves gun, is given the contents of the register and leaves. It is more likely that someone carrying a weapon will start a gun fight and get more people injured and killed. Until they start screening people I will never be comfortable whether they unconcealed or concealed. When you look at the number of people taking anti depressants you realize that there is something about our current culture that is causing these types of emotional iss

It would be great if it really worked that way. There is a commercial aspect in this with what sells papers and online news. I guess it is one thing for a minority to get pissed and a whole nother thing when the majority gets pissed. You don't really want the white folks to hit the streets protesting. The insinuation is that we are more powerful the blacks believe it along with many whites. It is a racial issue because of how things were handled in the past. Depressed wages, separation of the black family into public housing was under control of the majority whites. It is the cause of what w

I just spent 3 weeks with my dad outside Memphis in Millington. He would say lets watch the news to find out how many were shot and how many are dead today. It was no surprise when the victims were children, at the very least it is a once a month occurrence. It becomes more and more difficult to feel any emotion. It is almost always black on black. Even when it is in better parts of town they always victimize other blacks. Memphis is the 3rd most dangerous city in the nation. It is bad news for their economy as business is pulling out and others that won't come. My guess is that it will

The Paulding restaurant inspector they are with the health department. My son and I got sick after eating there one time. We have never been back.

I have a handful of beliefs based on personal experiences. It seems that I am sensitive to spiritual things. Something I have tried to ignore most of my life and am finally accepting. As a child I would have premonitions that freaked people out. It would things like me saying watch out for the cow in the road and when we came around a curve it would be there. Because of an experience I had when my grandmother died I know we don't cross alone as long as we have loved in our life time. I understand why someone takes their own life, I don't condemn them, I feel sorry for them because they reali

I could not agree more. After observing local politics the last few years, I am not sure if we can ever get good decent people to run here.If no dirt can be dug up, it is made up. Honesty and integrity are not a requirement to run here. It is about serving those that want something and are willing to pay for it. I have distanced myself from local politics. I saw all I ever want to see. At the state level the issue of the almost impossibility of replacing incumbents makes me feel hopeless. I want to thank you for doing a great job.

That is funny I heard that attracting new business and job creation is no longer the focus of the Paulding county commission. I think the focus is keeping your job before or after January. Should be very interesting. I wonder who the first to go will be????

The issue is pubby being accused of building a data base of member's numbers and giving them to the democratic candidates to call his members and urge them to vote for democrats. Pubby is extremely protective of members privacy, he would never sell their info to a third party. In fact nobody that works there has ever had access to that information. It is password protected and never shared.
-
The only way p.com has phone numbers is if members publicly posted them in their profile. All the savvy candidates can purchase data bases from the party. They include numbers, addresses and registered party voters in the different districts. It would take days to go through profiles to get the small amount of published numbers here, then try to find their district to see if there was a democratic challenger. Of course we know that democrats. especially pubby are down and dirty so accusing him of anything might very well stick just as it does in national politics.

big data and AI Who will make your decisions in the coming decades?
LPPT replied to gpatt0n's topic in RECENT TOPICS
We are seeing undeniable use of behavioral science in action. We accept this manipulation with little or no objection. It can and has been used to lead us to hold opinions and make decisions that are not in our best interest. Like many discoveries it can be used to benefit society or cause harm. I have expressed my concern many times about video games and violent movies where problems are solved by killing. Properly applied in the class room we could break the cycle of abuse and minimize the impact that bad parenting has on society. -
It seems to me that the head of the snake is there and more of the body that was spread out through the world is there. Finding the terrorist in other countries can be like finding a needle in a haystack. These are extremist looking for a fight, hopefully more will go than will stay in other countries. Isis knows this and it is why they want them to stay where they are and commit terrorist acts. I hope we can exterminate them when they all get to the nest,

I read so many stories criticizing the administration for not revealing strategy. When it is revealed of course it is criticized by so called experts. London (AFP) - Jihadists from more than 80 countries have flocked to fight in Iraq and Syria on an "unprecedented scale", according to extracts of a UN report published by Britain's Guardian newspaper on Friday. Around 15,000 people have travelled to fight alongside Islamic State (IS) and other hardcore militant groups from "countries that have not previously faced challenges relating to al-Qaeda," said the report. http://news.yahoo

So you approved of this dishonest reason for running. It seems to me to be very dirty to those that genuinely wanted to be represented by a democrat. It's par for the course in Paulding politics. I agree with Pubby it seems that Todd is just as adept at manipulation, and approves of it when it benefits him. I personally find it hard to get close to manipulative people.
-
This is very interesting. Pubby has been demonized and disrespected for years because of his tendency to be a very vocal democrat that gives as good as he gets. Patti was the little darling of the anti-airport folks in Todd's district. It seems that her left leaning tendencies were over looked all for the cause. I am now starting to believe the rumor that many conservatives crossed the isle to vote for her. Now she is not going along to get along she is once more one of those inherently evil Democrats. Some things never change when it comes to conservatives, it's all about the R and they a
