The issue more than anything down there is what it has always been and will continue to be unless there is a vision and a plan. That issue is parking. First we have many new residents not familiar with the downtown area. They may know of the city lots but not other places you might park. All of the businesses and churches that intend to make their lots available need to coordinate with the parade organizers, draw a map of their location and routes in and out of the area. And get it publicized well in advance through the paper, p.com and the city and gov sites. Especially show

I left before I got to see this today. Thank you all for your support. The best thing about today for all us and we all ageed was watching everyone's face light up and them singing and dancing with us on the side walks! I will always remember this as a wonderful day!
