Just so you know Sage as I said many people I love and respect have tattoos and I don't think any less of them because of it. I know that the things I mentioned are old fashioned and tats are now accepted mainstream. I think it is a personal choice. But also I don't fool myself and hope that nobody else does, there will for a very long time be certain circles and high powered board rooms that showing one will not be acceptable. I like very neat trim beards on men, cut very close with more face showing than not. It only looks good with neatly short trimmed hair. It is a package that must go together to still look professional or even handsome in my opinion.

I explained to my daughter that young men are always looking for young woman who's parents don't care about them and their futures very much. They will run like scalded dogs when you force them home at curfew, don;t allow them to close the bedroom doors or put their hands on them in your presence. Or encourage rebellion about your rules, thus copping an attitude. Never hurt my feelings a bit to make the little predators very uncomfortable.

I grew up in a military town I know for a fact how tattoos age and it is not a pretty sight at all. Also when I was young it was something the lowest class of people did to themselves. Bikers, not the middle class week enders that we see now, but the ones that ran drugs and prostitution rings. Gangs and jail birds had them, also those that lived on the fringes of society with drug abuse problems. I am fine, not much pain at all. Doesn't look like I will need much of the pain med. thank goodness. Yep! 3rd shift is a bit of a pain once you get use to it, if you have things that need to be done where you need to sleep at night. I worked 2nd for years and had myself trained to sleep as soon as I got in from work. It worked great for me, 3rd shift I could never get use to.

I had a little minor surgery today. They gave me pain meds, they make me hyper and almost impossible to sleep. Whats got everyone else up?

I would like to wish a very Merry Christmas to JohnnyJ. We have become very close since hid wife passed. He has constantly been a good friend to me, someone I can truly trust, a good adviser, sounding board. I would also like to wish Pubby a Merry Christmas, he has given me a chance to grow and learn so much these last 2 years and grow my self confidence in my abilities. He has put a lot of trust in me and I hope to continue to kit up to it in the coming year.
