Thank you, I will keep that in mind if the pain persist. Right now it has eased I took another pain pill. I hate to take them, I only take 1/2 at a time. Right now I am thankful I had some left over or I might have had to go to the doctor. You mentioned migraine it is nothing like a migraine with the pain behind the eyes, it really felt like sinus at first.

Debra said she had a headache on Monday where she couldn't get out of the bed, that is what made me think it could be viral too. She works with us at p.com, so I could have caught it from her.

Me too! this is miserable. Oh no, I am hoping for a 24 hour thing, but I have had a sore throat off and on. He is obviously stepping out behind your back

I had trouble getting to sleep last because of a head ache. I took some motrin that took the edge off and finally got to sleep. I woke up with it this morning, I thought it was sinus, but my whole head hurts. I have been taking a very strong pain med and it is barely taking the edge off of it. I have also been a little queasy. Is something like this going around? I am laying down, but it keeps waking me up.

That will be up to the mods, depending on how um harsh the language is. I say post it and let them decide, they will move it where it needs to go.

Across the top of the reply box you will see what looks like 3 window frames, copy and paste the code in there.

I know! I am so glad I don't have to drive with them. You be careful, they won't slow down for anything.

Well you know you can go as fast as you want, the news will let you know when and where the ice is, no need to use your own judgment

WAAAAAAAAAA my sled and my snow boots are covered in dust! They are going to dry rot before they ever get used! Maybe we should all get together and plan a weekend trip to Maggie valley!

We think a lot alike I don't care much for milk sammiches, but beer and chips work for me! LET IT SNOW! LET IT SNOW! LET IT SNOW! LET IT SNOW!

I can drive in snow very well, not the least bit afraid of it. In fact I love it, I don't think we will even get enough to enjoy. But honestly, I think people are underestimating what is going to happen when anything hits the ground tomorrow. The ground is extremely cold right now, we don't usually have temps low enough for long enough to have anything freeze to the ground as soon as it hits. I am predicting news crews will have a field day tomorrow, if it starts out as rain or sleet.

For me it has to do with getting 1000's of children home in icing conditions, which is exactly what they will have to do if it starts around noon. My subdivision would not be safe for buses should icing start. I am sure school administrators will be very concerned about this also.

I'm so sorry that snow storms are not an opportunity for you to snuggle like the rest of us

I know you don't want to hear it, but the weather channel is saying that it will start out as rain and sleet because the temperature will be around 40 degrees. I find the weather channel to pretty accurate most of the time. I hope your hubby will be safe.

That would be great if they think it will not come in until later. A lot less dangerous for kids. That could be none at all or 6 inches

Generally MM I agree with you on this. Most of the time I do the eye roll about accumulation and rushing to the store to get the ingredients for milk sammiches at the possibility of a 2 inch accumulation. The dramatization of local weathermen makes me crazy too. My gut tells me we are underestimating the stick factor because we are not use to having this much cold ground temps for so long. We turned the pool pump off at 9 am this morning and had a skim of ice on it by 10 am, no kidding. It only takes a little, let me explain. Down here the only roads that will get treated or

I didn't want you to be sad, he was a blessing. I know that they are our family and we never forget what they meant to us. I hope you will enjoy your ornament as much I treasure mine now.

The first one reminds me of my Buddy that passed away a week before Christmas 4 years ago. He was all about Christmas, loved it! He got excited when the first Christmas decoration came down from the attic. I still cry every year when I put his picture ornament on the tree and and hang his stocking with his collar in it.

We just purchased a new propane heater for emergencies today with sensors on it. I hope that everyone will upgrade.

Bless your heart Subby, I can't imagine working out in this. I wore my thermals today just to walk to the car and back.

Thanks for posting your experience with ice Wendy. My thread is really about a very big possibility about ice on Thursday and a reminder that you can not go by radio and tv in these conditions, your own judgment and experience may save your lives Thursday and Friday. I have had some really close calls myself and thay is why I am overly cautious about children on the roads. I have observed more that a handful of children outside with light jackets and no hats and gloves the last couple of days. Southerners do not take these temps seriously. I doubt many children will be dressed sa

We will be waiting on pins and needles for your prediction! Will you post a pic?

Yep they are black! you think that big oak they have been working on for 15 years is gonna fall anytime soon?
-
My point exactly! I intend to take personal responsibility for my child. He can make up the work if nothing happens, and they can deal with it. I can not hold them responsible for weather turning bad, but I do hold myself responsible for not using my best judgment. Thanks for helping me make my point!

Are we talking about carpenter ants? I have a colony that has been in my yard for 15 years in the same place.
