I guess the same thing I am, why aren't they being carded by law enforcement. It is not being treated like a crime. They are everywhere you look. If you stand on the street corner and pass around a joint with your friends, the cop is going to stop and see what is in that hand rolled thing you and your friends are passing around. You got a handful of folks standing by the street, they look Mexican, why can't police stop and check ID? Seems to me 2 different definitions of illegal.

Maybe my memory is failing me, he never addressed the problem. They were coming over by the millions to work construction during the housing boom. What does it matter how I am treated in Mexico, we are talking about illegals who theoretically aren't doing anything illegal. The building boom was over before he left office and many were going home due to the lack of work. They did come here to work by the way, not float on our social system as many would have us believe. They were not given the option to pay for health insurance which is legal for them to do so. They made many people rich, wo

I happen to like her. She is an entertainer, she entertains me. If people take her that seriously, it is their problem not hers. I think she is pretty real, she could have uncle Tomm'ed about the Zimmerman thing, but she didn't. She knows the score she is not stupid. There is not a single successful black American who is proud of the reality of the problems in their race. They simply know what it is to be black and the many odds stacked against you, especially when it comes to parenting. Who has not looked at a kid from any background and even our own families and said Damn! you never had

I have been giving this issue a lot of thought lately. My dear friend NJ is very concerned with this issue. I understand why, our difference is one of practicalities. I see it as a practical situation. Bush sat on his hands on this issue because for one he was raised in Texas with a silver spoon up his bum. He had zero ethics or morality, he worshiped one thing the all mighty dollar. He well knew the fortunes built upon the hard working Mexicans. We don't work this hard because Americans have a very good philosophy, work smarter not harder. Meaning we know machines can do it better and we

I subscribe to the shelter fb page. It is rare for lap dogs to be in danger of being put down. They are usually adopted quite quickly. If you are considering getting a lap dog there are a hand full running out of time there. I think tomorrow is the sad day if you want to check them out today. Here is a link, they are so darn cute.

The dredging of that river is relevant to every county in this state. It will be a big economic driver to every town that the expressways run through to move goods to and from that port. Governments spend our money period. I am online using the fiber optic cable we all paid for. They are going to spend, money on roads or infrastructure is tax payers money well spent. I supported the tsplost. I am pretty sure some of my tax dollars helped pay for their interstate and exit ramps to their manufacturing. More interstates would have made our state more attractive to manufacturing needing

You need to look deeper into the Pennington Tsplost deal. His reasoning was that Dalton had everything the tsplost provided for other counties, didn't think he or his folks needed to pay for others to play. The feds are now deciding where the interstates need to be to best serve the dredging of the Savannah river. North Georgia totally lost out on that. The point being this shows just how self serving he is. He will have an entire state to be responsible for and he is going to make his decisions based on the same criteria, whats in it for me.

Your cry for help is heart breaking. You have been through a lot the last few years. It would get anyone down. I know that you don't have the funds to talk to a professional,so I hope you have found someone on here to reach out to. A lot of people are in the same boat as you are. I have talked with a lot of folks that have worked their way out of situations like yours by having someone to talk to and writing in a journal when nobody was available to talk. It won't change the situation you are in but it may help you to cope better with it. (((HUGS)))

BH, now you have my attention! there was a discussion with a mutual friend about some picin and grinnin in the fall

Most community sites don't last long. The people that start them tend to only want people just like them and cave to the pressure of banning unpopular people fairly quickly. When you have a lot of folks of the same mind on a site it is boring and tends to implode with infighting. There is a lot of complaining here about moderation, but the way it has been moderated has allowed it to grow. Like many I have seen a lot of sites come and go. They all die from the same thing, intolerance.

I am not drinking anything that makes my breath smell like formaldehyde the next day. That rules out the staple American Lagers. I did not touch beer for almost 20 years until Corona came along. I also had my first Blue Moon this summer and liked it. I don't drink cheap beer or Liquor. When I drink wine, I like Italians and French best, a lot less sulphides(sp) in them. I never have hang overs, I am careful that my mixers are clean also. My philosophy..... drinking should be a pleasurable experience. Losing a day of your life with a hangover is just stupid. It is well worth it to drink

Paleeze, those that know me know I laughed my arse off at this thread. Poor hubby had some serious dental work this week, all he can do is look at it and weep. Maybe I will serve him some camel toe as a consolation

“Mommy, can I hug you?” “Of course, sweetie. You know I love your hugs!” “Can I go play with them?” he whispered in my ear, holding me tight. “I think they’d like that,” I said, looking at the kids playing on a rug a few feet away. My son pulled away. I wasn’t ready to let him go, but he was ready to go. He was ready, so I released him. – Three years earlier, I dropped him off at day care for the very first time. I held him on my lap in the backseat of my car, gazing at his tiny, perfect face and wondering how I could possibly hand him over to someone else. How I could

I think ZYNGA has a good chance of coming back so that is why I bought it when it was low, very low. If not I didn't lose that much. Games are so popular anything can happen, people never tire of them.

ZNGA develops a lot of online games. Not sure Candy Crush is one of them. I don't play but online gaming is a national addiction.

North Paulding had an accident at least once a month or more. I stayed on my son to watch for the idiot kids hot dogging it. Yeah it always scares you, but you have to let them grow up. The kids with the old beater cars never show off if that is a clue to keeping your kid safe when driving. Mine has already had his first wreck, the second car was not as nice as the first, I think he now fears his next ride will be down graded even more

I think so, I bought stock in the company and I don't even play them

Everyone raises their children their own way. My 4th just graduated. I learned the hard way that balance is the way. It was significant that his first thoughts when you weren't there is something happened to you. Fear and panic, you also reacted to the situation with fear and panic. Those aren't exactly comfortable emotions. I picked my son up every day, if I was late he assumed I had a client meeting that ran late or traffic problems. No fear, no panic, maybe mild annoyance. Your son wanted to ride the bus, he wanted to be like other kids, he wanted independence and responsibility.

Congrats Pubs, you created something great here. I have met 100's of wonderful folks here and I have the pics to prove it. Working for p.com was great! Who knows, I might come back and do a little reporting. We have some elections coming up here next year!

My husband stalked me when we first met. Back then it was called pursuing. I finally let him catch me and have never regretted it. I still tease him about being creepy, he says love at first sight is not creepy
