I wonder if the band will still play at the game tomorrow night?

For kids I would recommend Dr. Jason Turner of Turner Pediatric Dentristry in Hiram, and for adults I would recommend Dr. Bickford of Distinctive Dentistry in Dallas. This is who our family sees and we couldn't be happier!

Yeah, the guy showed up in my driveway today. He said he got stiffed on a $200.00 order, and just wanted to sell the stuff so he didn't lose out. Bad thing is, I have heard this same line from about 3 others. I think I will stick to other ways to buy my beef.

Has anyone tried to file this on their medical insurance? My dentist told me that some medical insurances will cover a portion since leaving them in can lead to medical issues.

I suggest to all clients that when you are getting ready to give stuff away to charity that you list it all on a piece of paper. ie: 10 pairs of jeans, 20 paperback books, 10 purses, etc. When the charity gives you their reciept, staple your list to it. Use the salvation army valuation guide that Union Mom listed to value your goods. (FMV is not what you paid for them, but what the resale value is). The IRS is looking at this much more closely than they use to, so I think it is also a good idea to take pictures if you can. There is no maximum deduction on this. If it is more than $5

My pain was always between my shoulders. It is really baddddd pain. I had mine removed last year, it was so large that they had to make a 6 inch incision from my belly button to get it out. I feel great after having it removed.

My guess is the dishwasher would not be worth it. Even though you paid $1500 for it, they will depreciate the value, so when you take off your deductable, you are probably not talking about enough to make it worth the claim. I don't know if they can raise rates for that or not.

This wouldn't suprise me at all. They have always had problems with water seeping in.

got the phone call that school is closed tomorrow too! -
A friend was just at Kroger on Ridge Rd., and they were closing. They said the county is cutting off their water. If you live in the area, you might want to get some water in jugs and the bathtub.

Just wanted to let everyone know that he came through the surgery really well. This is what Jennifer said "They had to fuse T4- L3. His spine was worse than the doctor expected. He said, "he had a perfect mix of scoliosis and kyphosis", but he is fixed now. The surgery was uneventful. THANK GOD!!!! " Basically, not only was his spine curved, but it was also twisted. That explains the pain he has been in for the last few months. He is in a lot of pain, so if you can, keep the prayers coming. He may get to go home on Sunday, but if he isn't better he can stay until Tuesday. -
Where are they located?

I had a wreck yesterday, and I need to get a couple of estimates for repairs. I drive a Mazda MPV, so I would like suggestions of someone, honest, and reputable in the area. Thanks for all suggestions. I have no idea where to go, and who to trust.

My van has damage. The back bumper and hatch are smashed. Can't open the back at all. It will be a hassle, but no one is injured. The guy had a tag on the front of his truck that was embedded into my rear bumper. His truck only had a crack in the bumper.

I was leaving the school today after picking up the kids, and got rear-ended at the yield sign going onto Ridge Rd. I stopped for a car coming down Ridge, but the guy behind me thought I was going, and had his foot on the gas. He was super nice, but it took forever for the police to come. My back is a little sore, but otherwise, the kids were fine. Thank God. He always sends Angels to ride with us.

I think this is the number 1 obsticule that we have in Paulding county when it comes to attracting industry. I would much rather have had the reservoir than an airport.

The credit is not applied against your taxes. It is truely free money. The only thing you must remember is that you have to live in the house for 3 years following getting the money, or you will owe it back. Otherwise, you don't owe anything back. It is different than the one last year where you had to pay it back.

I asked them today and she said they are not closing. That they have new inventory and want to clear out all of the old stuff before putting in the new. I bought $40. something for $10 Not bad. They had some Cookie Lee jewlery that I got for 25 cents each.

you have to go through the collegeboard.com web site. They are giving it at PCHS. It is $45 to take the test. I have my son signed up to take it in November.

QUOTE (dana @ Aug 10 2009, 04:45 PM) I watched and will probably watch again. I also watched mainly because it's local. What is it? -
H&R Block is having an OPEN HOUSE tomorrow at its Dallas Location. If you are interested in the H&R Block Tax Course, you can get lots of information on the class tomorrow at this location. They will have a book there for you to see, and they can answer any of your questions and even sign you up for class. The office is located in the Kroger Shopping Center at the corner of 278 and 61 across from Chattahochee Tech. Hope to see you there. Remember, if you are the spouse of an active or retired military personel, you can take the class for FREE!

I didn't automatically trust the roofers. I called the insurance company and asked that they send an adjuster out to look at my roof. It took a couple of weeks, (since there are so many claims in our area). When he came, he actually found more damage than the roofers did. This area has been hit by 2 major hail storms in the last year. That does not, however, mean that every house has hail damage. There is a house down the street that has a lot of trees around it, that does not have hail damage, and a couple on the end of the road that do not either. Call your insurance company and l

I don't have any experience with Travelers, but with my insurance, they paid us a large portion up front. I think it was $4,700, and there was a depreciation amount of $1,500 that we didn't get until the work was complete. Once we submitted the reciept for the job, they paid us the remaining $1,500. They said a lot of people get the initial money and do not have the roof redone, so they do not get the depreciation amount. Other than that, mine went very smoothly. The company that did ours did it for the amount the insurance paid. We got 30 year architectural shingles, and ridge vents
