ok, I will play. My daughter is graduating and just started a job. So I guess we won't be doing a whole lot now. At first I had planned to visit Florida with the kids but now I am not sure that my daughter will have the days off. So I may just check about going to Gulf Shores or something for a few days. Otherwise...we are going to do a whole lot of nothing....and we are gonna enjoy every minute of it.

LadyRaider, I was in there the other day, while killing time, waiting on Brooke (who got a JOB BTW...WOOHOO) and while I was in there I was looking for something that I needed for Matthews class at school. She was sooooo nice and helped me out. Matthew's class was very greatful for the help. She went WAY over and beyond and I appreciated it.

If I remember correctly, there were a lot more than 20 kids that failed last year. So not sure what figures they were looking up or if this parent misunderstood.

I am guessing that your kids are not in high school yet? Yep, things change at that point. Not matter what you say or do. They will say no homework or not tell you about the project until the night before. So whatcha gonna do? It isn't like you can talk to the teacher everyday to make sure that they really don't have homework. Especially when homework isn't graded anymore. So when the kid gets behind in high school then it take forever to get passing again. My daughter had a 66 in one class and it took over a month before another grade was put in the book to bring it up. Better e

I think that is a great idea. That would cause the owners to be responsible if they really wanted to own one. I personally would never own one or take my kids around someone who did have one.

great point. I did forget to mention that. This is what my bank recommended. Because they will try to get more money from you....and then just saying that you didn't cancel. I have heard of lots of people having this problem.

I fell for a stupid one. It was a 14 day trial. I knew that but the thing is that the trial started the day that it was ordered. So I got it 10 days later and I only had 4 days left until I was billed. I didn't know this and I went straight to my bank when the company wouldn't help me. The bank put a reverse on it and gave me my money back. They then went after the company for their money. They said that they have seen this company's name many times so they already knew how to handle it. forgot to add that it wasn't a teeth whitening kit. It was something totally different.

I am a couple of miles from Dallas Nebo on Ridge Rd. Didn't hear any sirens on my side of town.

I am actually glad. Not that I would really go there a bunch. But I did just go to the one in D'ville today. I would love not to have to drive that mall traffic to get to one.

My daughter is a senior. She passed it on the 1st try. She told me that she thought you only get 1 chance per year to take it. Once 11th grade and once senior year. Not sure though since she passed it the first time.

Dr. Vick is the BEST!! My son went thru several before we finally found Dr. Vick. We have used him for many years now. He also did my son's sinus surgery. We used about 3 ENT's and still couldn't get better and I wanted a 2nd opinion for something so I went to Dr. Vick. My son got better after the 1st visit with him. You are in great hands.
