  1. He took the slide off the pool and demolished it because he "didn't like the way it looked." He didn't know those slides start at about $5k. And he sold my $40 ball game chair that I loved for $8 bux at a yard sale. He took out a huge loan at one of those loan-shark places (that I didn't know about) to take us on a lavish vaca because he wanted to take me somewhere nice. And he ran over my $200 polarized ray bans with the lawn mower. All that was in the first year we got married. He's the perfect husband now. Like someone else said, I could not ask for a better man! So I guess the moral of
  2. Way to go Wolfpack! The County Line Bucket is coming home!
  3. Great awesome thanks! Maybe I can figure how to get it on my iPad during halftime!
  4. Score please?? Can't get the kids to text me back!
  5. I used to work for a company that cleaned and maintenance those type of tanks as well as much larger ones. If its maintenanced on schedule, its not a problem. But I guess you have no way of knowing...
  6. What a sweet big brother, way too much cuteness! Its awesome seeing all of the pictures from last night!
  7. I pray for lil Tripp often and wish him a full recovery. Other than that, I keep my mouth firmly shut as far as my opinion.
  8. Ive never seen a Georgia statute that excludes child killers from eligibility from the death penalty. Everything Ive seen indicates that FELONY child abuse is most certainly an aggravating factor. I've not seen any report that this killer has an ankle bracelet. There's no egg on any faces for wanting to keep a child killer locked up or speculating that he might skip bail. Ridiculous. My head hurts now. Thanks.
  9. Ok. I can't prove that there are people out there who's job it is to manipulate the numbers to make their state look better, so there is no point arguing about it. Eta: since you say it's not a misrepresentation, I guess I'd better pack plenty of heat and watch my back for drive bys the next time I'm in Gatlinburg.
  10. I have been to Memphis plenty of times. It's not so much that I'm surprised by it as It is that I think that to say that Tennessee is the most dangerous state in the US is complete bs. It's a misrepresentation of the state as a whole.
  11. That sounds so good! I don't know how Mrs. Surepip keeps her girlish figure!
  12. Sounds like a bunch of bs to me. Nashville is worse than Los Angeles? Memphis is worse than Chicago? I don't think so. I think a lot of states are changing the criteria to make their stats look better.
  13. I really think it is over rated because my Granny did the same thing. The big meal of the day was dinner, what we call lunch, then the leftovers would be covered and eaten for supper. She didn't have ac, either. Nobody ever got sick.
  14. Thank you for your service, Officer Grep! May you have a long and happy retirement!
  15. It'll warm up during the day I hate cold weather too, but I love these cool nights/warm days here lately!
  16. Heck yea! I'm not gonna want to get out from under the covers in the morning!
  17. I was trying to remember some of his stories, and ran across this: http://www.lewisgrizzard.com/archive_frame.htm Great reading! What an awesome writer he was, gone too soon but never forgotten!
  18. I've been buying medications from overseas for years at a fraction of the cost that they are here. I've never had a problem, and with these type of medications, I would know right away if it was not the right prescription or dose. it has saved me thousands. Just be careful who you deal with, some companies are good and some are scams.
  19. This is exactly what I meant in my earlier post. The animosity and resentment runs deep. There were only a handful of people involved in the fire station deal, it had absolutely nothing to do with anyone except those select few. The school is identical to south paulding. The only parks that have been built were paid for by the subdivisions that built them. And I have no idea what "amenities" you are talking about.
  20. I've always thought it immaturity more than meanness. They just didn't grow much past high school.
  21. A bad habit of many of our southern ladies. There seems to be some downright hostility from some of the long time residents of Paulding toward us people who moved into the northeast part of the county.
  22. It was a good night for Paulding county!
