  1. I appreciate what you are saying. But this statement from the police chief:"An autopsy conducted on the Georgia toddler left inside an SUV for seven hours determined the manner of death was a homicide, police said late Wednesday afternoon. The boys death was not simple negligence, the police chief said." does not match up with 2nd degree. He either knew the baby was in the car, or he didn't. If he did, that's malice a forethought, 1st degree child cruelty. Right? If it was "not simple negligence" what else could that mean except that he knew?
  2. This is not making sense to me. With the evidence seemingly mounting, why did they DOWNgrade the charges today from first degree to second degree child abuse?
  3. I think I would have to go ahead and put him out of his misery. It would probably happen right about the first time he wanted to have sex with me after the incident. The manner of death would be much harder to explain as being an accident, I'm afraid.
  4. In other cradle-robbing news, Anthony Kiedis (age 51-of the Red Hot Chili Peppers) is dating a 20 year old. He's another one that looks like his best days are way behind him, lol.
  5. Looks like nobody's defending the POS now doesn't it? Two years and he's still not had his day in court on the original charges? What the heck?
  6. Tip #1143: Think in advance where you might want to put an outdoor kitchen in the future and run the water line for the sink BEFORE you pour the concrete! (I wish someone had told me this before!)
  7. It's interesting that Snopes uses Forbes as a source for their information, yet in at least some cases the numbers reported by Snopes contradict those reported by Forbes. Hmmm.
  8. No kidding! That's kind of what I was trying to point out in my other post in this thread! I've heard this hypothetical argument a lot. Is there a real life example of poorly trained people making a situation worse out there somewhere?
  9. This is the truth. Maybe, at some point in the future, we will figure out the defect or trigger or gene that defines this type of violence. Science being where it is today, all we can do is defend ourselves.
  10. They said he was shy and kept to himself, not that he was unstable. So, how did our mental health system fail him? What steps could possibly be taken other than to single out every single kid who doesn't "fit in" and put them through some sort of "screening" which may or may not have positive effects, and just as easily may or may not have negative effects? Or are you saying we need to screen every single child, and with the same results? Your post means well and sounds encouraging, but what is the practical application? How could a change in our priorities have prevented this?
  11. Thank you for posting that. It is fascinating. You get the sense that Annette Snell was on the verge of stardom, that if she had lived, we would all know her name now. How tragic.
  12. You are kidding, right? Lucille Ball. One of the greatest actors of all time. Dang I feel so old! Lol. At least stradial is right there with me.lol.
  13. I agree, this looks like an inside job. Look for a young, disgruntled, well on their way to becoming a career criminal family member. Not that I'm an FBI profiler by any means.
  14. He lived alone and suicide has been ruled out. I don't know the answers to your other questions.
  15. Or maybe part of the problem is that thieves are emboldened by statements like this that make it seem the victims fault instead of their own fault.
  16. There is another story about this on wsbtv.com today. http://shar.es/Btf1h Thank you Just Denise!
  17. It's still there, HWAM. It's in the reviews section, the very first one with 14 replies, that text and picture is one of the replies.
  18. Why would they do that? How does taking that post down get us any closer to justice for Cody?I don't understand....
  19. This post is from the Paulding County Sheriff Depts Facebook page, posted by Cody's uncle. There is also a request for information in regards to this case posted by the department.
  20. I agree over the moon, it does get a bad rap and people who are not from the south tend to use it inappropriately because they think it always has a bad connotation. Ex: a local business had their restrooms vandalized. They said in their online newsletter, bless your heart to the people who did that.... I'm like what?
  21. I pray that a lead pans out soon, I pray for le too, please don't let this go cold, there's a killer in our midst.
  22. She has never been a serious suspect as far as I know, they had a disagreement a while back that left Cody with hard feelings toward her, not so much the other way around, at least that's what I was told. Someone knows who did this to Cody and I know their conscious is weighing on them. You will not feel free until you tell what you know...I pray for you and that you do the right thing.
  23. Yes he was a sweetheart and is so missed...It's odd to me that police didn't report this to the media when it happened, I guess they have their reasons...
  24. This family really needs a break, if anyone knows anything please call 404-577-8477 (TIPS) I don't know how to post the link with the video and pictures but this is the text from www.myfoxatlanta.com: DALLAS, Ga. - The family of a Paulding County man is demanding answers after they say he was shot while sleeping in his own bed. The body of 20-year-old Cody Bryant was found last month. The family tells FOX 5 News that they are pleading for answers. They say that nothing has been issued to the public about Bryant's death. They are asking anyone with information to step forward. His
