  1. Glad to hear it went well. They will have another one in August.
  2. Terry was telling us last week you were going to get in more of the plus ladies Braves tops. Is that one in the middle the jersey style?
  3. I actually looked up Harrah's Cherokee online last night. A friend went there a few months ago and said they have built a lot on to it and it is really nice. Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg are two of our favorite places with some of our favorite eating places) so I'm thinking maybe stay in Pigeon Forge and drive over to Harrah's for a day to check it out? No alcohol doesn't effect us.
  4. Y'all let me know all the great finds you purchased so I can be green with envy. I am so sad I couldn't go. (I HATE having to be so dependent on others. )
  5. I was going to suggest King Tux Rental although it is in Cobb County. Tom is a super nice guy and is a p.com member.
  6. Shucks. That's a little further than I was hoping. I also meant to ask of anyone knows of any "packages" or deals on accommodations anywhere?
  7. I hear ads for places to go that have casinos 2-3 hours away from Atlanta. Where would you or do you go? (Seems to me Mississippi would be further than that from Atlanta??) Trying to think of somewhere different for a couple of days get away. TIA.
  8. Thank's Y'all. We'll check out the store but there is NO way he could ever buy a pair of shoes online. It is hard enough to find a pair he can wear when he tries them on, it would be impossible to for him to buy a pair online. It is another option for him to shop for them and I appreciate learning about it. He spoke into his smart phone and it gave him the address. From what I understand it is near Johnson Ferry Road. (I don't do the smart phone thing. )
  9. As it turns out I won't be able to set up tomorrow but I am hoping to find a way to go to the yard sale/craft show at Hickory Heights Baptist Church. TOMORROW IS THE DAY and I have it from a reliable source there already are some AMAZING deals and GREAT stuff to buy. It is also supposed to be a BEAUTIFUL and warm day. PERFECT for shopping! Saturday (April 2nd) 9 - 4 at Hickory Heights Baptist Church. It's on the corner of Dabbs Bridge Road and Hwy 61N in the Burnt Hickory Area. Just to let you know the entrance to the church is on Dabbs Bridge Road. 41+ booths. Some of the vend

  11. In LPPT's thread asking where to get NB tennis shoes several references were made to a New Balance Outlet. I never quite understood where it is located. Some posts mentioned Trader Joe's in Marietta. Is this where the outlet is located or is that a different store that carries NB? Is the name of it "New Balance Outlet"? I would like to call to check and see if they carry 4E in stock in mens sizes. TIA.
  12. Hope you and the Hubby have a WONDERFUL and GREAT time. Where are you going to be hitting port for 10 days?? WOW! ENJOY!
  13. I may be wrong but from what I've read on here in previous post, the Sheriff's Dept. won't do anything. They have to observe the traffic violation and/or erratic driving. PLUS, what the OP is describing occurred in Cobb County?!?!?in
  14. Oh Honey.......we are always on a quest for NB tennis shoes. DH has wide feet and NB is the only manufacturer that has them in his size: 11-4E! Marshall's gets them in and they also have them at Kohl's, Rack Room Shoes, Sports Authority, etc. You can sometimes find them on sale in the $39-$49 range but they typically run at least $69-$79. Depending on the style they can be over $100. The styles are numbered and the higher the number the more cushion, support they provide. We've been on a search for weeks now. In addition to his feet being wide they are in bad shape from standing on them 10-12
  15. I was wondering the same thing???? Before DH retired from the Lowe's in Austell he and co-workers would eat there at least a couple of times a week. I joined them a few times and it was always really good! You might want to check with Rodney's and Benson's (formerly Rodney's at 92/Nebo Road) as they both have daily specials. Audrey's is ALWAYS good, too.
  16. I wish the DGD's were going to be here but with it being the start of Spring Break they will be in Alabama with their other Grandparents. We DO have to share. I would LOVE to have their photos taken at that location.
  17. AWWWWWW....How Sweet. I missed it but maybe can catch a rerun or they will have it on the R&K website?
  18. Bless your heart! I am so sorry and will have you and your mother in my thoughts and prayers!
  19. Praying for sweet Mackenzie and the family. God will hear our prayers and answer them. Having had a son in NICU for 6 weeks I can say with assurance that she will be well cared for. God and modern medicine are AMAZING! Keep us updated as you can.
