:clapping: DH and I had a couple of BAD experiences at the Hiram location not only with bad food but horrible service. We stayed away for 2 years but went one night about 6 months ago because DS wanted their cheese wedges and they were doing the 2/$14.99 special. We, too, were pleasantly surprised at how it had changed. Since that night we have been at least once a month, sometimes going more often. When we moved to GA in 1996 we heard from many people how good that place was. Been there once and that was one time too many!! No doubt the BEST ribs are at Dreamland BBQ but it is a long drive to the one closest to us is located at: 10730 Alpharetta Highway Roswell The original Dreamland BBQ was in Tuscaloosa and the only thing on the menu was BBQ ribs, loaf bread and sweet tea. Every dignitary, politician, sports person that went to T-town went to Dreamland. There are several locations now and the menu has grown but they still serve loaf bread with their entree'.

It has warmed my heart to see the news reports but it gives me chills to know someone did it right here in Hiram. Also a THANK YOU to the very first Secret Santa to started this and gave many others the idea to do it.

DANG!!! I sure do hate that Chris came in 3rd but like others have said it is probably in his best interest. My bet now is Josh will win. Melanie is what is called in the biz "The Complete Package". I really want her to win but would be pleased if Chris wins. All 3 will have a career and we haven't seen the last of any of them tonight.

DD not only looks like her biological father she walks like him!!!! Friends from my hometown have told me if they saw her walk but didn't see her face they would KNOW she was his! But, from the moment she was born she has been the spitting image of him. Back in the day babies were kept in the nursery. His daughters name is Crimson Tide. TRUE STORIES: I know an attorney in B'ham whose last name is WHITE. He named his daughter Crimson Ann White. I know someone (and they live in Georgia) whose sons legal name is: Bama Boe and they call him "Bama Boy". BTW, I have a son whose middle name is BRYANT but he goes by his first name. All my life I was preached "You name a child what you are going to call it with that name as the first name. And, if you are going to call a daughter Mandy you don't name her Amanda" It took us months to come up with a middle name to go with "Wade"

I know all real Alabama fans feel the same way I do......I am absolutely sickened over the poisoning of the Toomer Trees and even more sickened by the fact the person who did it claims to be an Alabama fan. I watched a special on the trees recently on ESPN and the experts said they really don't know if they will survive until the Spring when budding season returns. In the meantime they are doing everything they can. Auburn has the BEST of the BEST horticulture people and if they can be saved that is the place that can save them!!!

We have LOVED Melanie from her first note. I still think she will win. Never have really cared for Josh. We have been huge fans of Chris too and are proud of his accomplishment over drugs. BUT.....he didn't nail his 1st song tonight.
