I agree 100%!!! It doesn't do us any good to get the points with the prescriptions either. For May we have FOUR fill-ups with the 10 cents off just from the groceries we purchased in April. Some months we have even given our daughter discounted fill-ups because we couldn't use all the ones we accumulated. The examples you gave are good.......ANYTHING would be appreciated!

The Kroger pharmacist told me last week the company is about to get strict with accepting competitors coupons when transferring a prescription. But, he told me to watch for this weeks sale ad and it would have information regarding them giving $25.00 on the Kroger Plus card for each prescription transferred. He said he understood the limit was $500 of free groceries and would to on throughout May. I saw the headline in the Kroger ad but could not read the fine print as to the restrictions, rules, etc. I know several people on here transfer prescriptions to help save with groceries and wanted t

I had a biz card in my pocket from someone who bakes and delivers. I "thought" and was hoping it was for the lady selling sour dough bread - the sample was GREAT but I didn't get back down there to buy some and I've gotten too lazt to bake it myself. That would be an AWESOME experience - as many times a day as I watch Family Feud with FOUR different hosts, I should do good playing it. Yeah, I figured out several years ago that they pick people on the Price Is Right based on interviews done while waiting in line. The type criteria they use to choose is based on their energy, t-shirt, personality, how many times they have tried to get on the show, if their mother was on the show 40 yrs ago, etc, etc.

A lady that came by our booth had fried pies at the farmers market. YUMMMMM. She had sold out and came over to walk around. She said most of the people set up had pickles. We had a GREAT day - there was a good crowd and our sales exceeded our goal - so we were happy. I bought a couple of treasures and behaved myself. For the most part it wasn't too terribly hot and there was a nice breeze off and on. We met some very nice people and really enjoyed it. I think next time us p.commers need to have a p.com logo sign at our booths so we can identify each other.

As I was reading this I was wondering WHAT made her flee????? But, nothing is said about there being outstanding warrants and the article says the police did not know why she fled. That POOR BABY - never had a chance.

YIKES!!!! They might "owe it" but the error was not their fault. I would think the utility company could right it off as a loss and leave the family alone. Otherwise, I like The Sound Guy's suggestion! I would think if they fought it the Judge would rule in the families favor or at least be a little more compassionate as far as paying it back.

We bought one of the Topsy Turvy baskets on sale and DH is bringing home tomatoes today to plant tomorrow. The only reason we got one was bc DGD Anna helps him plant and is really serious about it. (Or as serious as a 5 yr old can be. But, she LOVES her "playing in the dirt" time with Pop.) She wanted one so guess what? She got one.
