  1. OOPS..............Sorry I didn't see this before starting my thread. I didn't see the article but watched him on Ellen this afternoon.
  2. What do ya think????? Simon was on Ellen today and she pressed him to make a prediction. He said if she had sked him 5-6 weeks ago he would have said Crystal hands down. But, now he thinks Lee will win it. My thoughts? I will be really surprised if Crystal does not win. I just cannot see the Producers letting a white male win 3 yrs in a row. Not to mention Crystal is different from what is being offered in the entertainment biz where Lee could get lost among many. Here we go.............................
  3. STILL AVAILABLE ~ Father's Day is just round the corner.
  4. DITTO to all the above. (Other than the comments about LOST: Never watched it and am GLAD I didn't after hearing so many people comment on how disappointed they were with it. Whoopy Goldberg was hilirious on The View about it!!!! ) DH and I have watched FRINGE from the very beginning and make sure we never miss it. All the characters are GREAT - acting and writing. Walter cracks me up!!! Having said that and being a HUGE fan, I am like brown*eyed*girl and don't pretend to understand all of it.
  5. OH MY.......How terrible! My prayers will be with this family that God will give the family Peace and touch Brynlee with his Comforting and Healing hand. Reading the link of symptoms absolutely broke my heart. Our GRANDdaughter was diagnosed with Cystic Fibrosis at 2 months and the prognossis was nothing near as horrible as the one for Brynlee. God Bless this precious baby.
  6. Jesse James just needs to stop talking.... YA THINK????? GEEEEZZZZZZZZZZZZZ And what gets me is I have seen clips of the interview several times already BEFORE the interview airs tonight on Nightline. And, every one of them claimed it was "exclusive".
  7. I've never watched LOST but I thought the ending to 24 was PERFECT......and not boring at all.
  8. I can relate. Everyone KNOWS better than to dial our numbers when 24 is on - of IF they do, it had BETTER be an emergency. We don't answer the phone while it is on and if they call the 2nd time we know it is important so we'll call back during commercial.
  9. Leftovers from last night: Grilled pork chops & chicken breast, homemade mac & cheese, red parsley butter potatoes. Got some fresh corn on the cob on the stove to add something different. (Yeah, it is a starchy, but GOOD dinner) This way no cooking and no clean up and when DH gets home we can watch the LAST episode of 24.
  10. I have the DVR recording it. DH is on his way home from work and will be here about 9:00. We'll start at the beginning and watch it together. I HATE THIS - Gonna MISS Jack!!!!!
  11. My friend who had the lapband does have quite a bit to lose, unfortunately. I've never heard of the DS.
  12. Yeah, I know. DH doesn't get home until about 8:45 on Monday so I told him I'd set the DVR and we'll start watching it from the beginning when he gets home. I'll just have to warm up the left overs and cook some fresh corn on the cob to go with it tomorrow. I am already dreading the finale!!!
  13. Are you having gastric bypass or lapband? I have friends who have had both. The friend who had gastric bypass lost 90 lbs and looks GREAT! She has kept it off for about 3 yrs and has not had any problems or complications. She doesn't eat much and always has leftovers from a meal. She is very happy with her experience. The friend who had lapband isn't so happy. She has problems when she eats - and is constantly having to spit out mucus. (Which when you are sitting at the dinner table with her is GROSS) She cannot eat much and often gets sick when she does eat. She has lost about 20 lbs
  14. DH is grilling pork chops and chicken breast (so we'll have enough for leftovers tomorrow night: 24 Series Finale ) Homemade Mac & Cheese Butter Parsley Red Potatoes Toasted Fresh Sourdough Bread from Gabriel's Brownies for dessert
  15. I second your topic!! They are GREAT. I actually have two appointments with Peggy next week: one to get the hair touched up and then Saturday she will do her magic with my hair and do a facial before I go to a very special Reunion Reception in AL.
  16. What does the lady have in the 3rd row, middle pic???? I wanted to go but did not have a way to get there. Hated to miss it. What does the lady have in the 3rd row, middle pic???? I wanted to go but did not have a way to get there. Hated to miss it.
  17. STILL AVAILABLE WITH PHOTOS AVAILABLE UPON REQUEST
  18. THANK YOU!!! I think so and it is quite unique because it is not for a specific driver as most Uniform Jackets are. Therefore it does not become obsolute when the driver changes teams, sponsors, etc.
  19. That does sound YUMMMMY! I love white sauce. We had Briarpatch: The 1/2 chicken w/baked pot for me Cheeseburger w/ fries & slaw for DH Got a homemade peach cobbler in the oven and will top it off with cool whip in a bit.
  20. I KNOW!!!!! You probably saw them on the same tour that I did. A friend and I left our husbands with the babies and drove to Birmingham, AL to see them. It was GREAT!!! I also saw Kenny at the Fox later in the 80's for his Christmas Show. OMGOSH!!!!!! :::pantpant:::
