Not knowing the ins and outs or the details I hope the NFL learned a valuable lesson from MLB when they went on strike/lockout/whatever a few years ago and the powers that be are able to come to an agreement. It took YEARS for the American ticket-paying-public to return to the MLB stadiums and support the millionaires (on both sides) who wanted more money. With the economy the way it is these days and the effort it takes for a family to go to an NFL game I doubt the players - nor the owners - will get much sympathy.

I am really out of the loop with ereaders. Are you saying kindle can be downloaded to my laptop to read the books from it??? I've been wanting a Kindle really bad since I cannot read a regular book but have no problems reading my laptop due to the bright white screen and uniform print. Question for those of you who have the Kindle is it easy to read?? (I apologize for what is a dumb question I am sure.)

YIKES!!!! I've been to the movie maybe 3-4 times in the last 2 or so years. Just another reason why to stay home in the comfort of my recliner and watch On Demand and eat my own snacks - IF there is even a movie that I care to see.

OKAY.............somehow I did something that I have no clue what I did nor how to fix it. I suddenly have a gray bar down the left side about an inch wide and on the right side is a bar about 3 inches wide with all the adds on it. Neither of these were here a bit ago. But now the screen is small when looking at the list of threads and after opening them up. I have enough trouble reading the screen without it being limited. Can someone please tell me how to get it back to where the entire screen is the page I am looking at??????? TIA!!

I hope your husband got some relief - tooth pain is almost unbearable. A couple of years ago DD was skating at Sparkles and the wheels caught - causing her to fall flat on her face and her two front teeth were broken off half in two. The roots were actually dangling out of what was left of her teeth. Talk abut PAIN!!! Her friend called Distinctive Dentistry on Bus 6 and they met her that Saturday night and did what they could and then met her back at the office Sunday morning at 10:00. They were a lifesaver to say the least.
