Jim told me he expects this to be temporary. He said the company expects that Kroger Pharmacy to be overwhelmed initially after the closing of the Hiram location. But, due to the Dallas Kroger Pharmacy already having a full staff he doesn't expect them to all stay there after the initial rush of transfers. We got the letter too. You have to keep the letter and use it to get the $25 in free groceries added to your Kroger card. Right now all Krogers are doing the $25 gift card for any transferred prescription to Kroger. Sure does help!!

I would not expect Publix to go in there considering they moved out of their fairly new and nice store a short few years ago where the Staples and Sports Authority is now.

The "Mellish" report on WSB 750 Radio yesterday morning said next week could be worse than what we just experienced. He also was the first and closest to predict what we actually did get last time. Or so I hear.

DH brought two sleds for our DGD's the last snow we got and they had a BLAST!!! They had one of the disc and one of the toboggan. During the last month they have sold over 3000 sleds. Who woulda ever thought????? :::hijack::: I may be mistaken but I don't think the Hardware store up the street is an ACE??? :::endofhijack:::

Yes, it is a GREAT site with some AWESOME deals!!! I've bought on there several times. For Christmas I gave DH some golf packages at a really good deal and I bought us a tour of Turner Field for $10.00 each. We get to go into the clubhouse, dug out, field, Braves Museum~places you aren't always allowed to go through. I've also bought some entertainment deals for the kids and DGD's. THANKS! I did not judge them, it just took me by surprise and took some getting used to. It took me awhile to be able to even wear jeans. Plus, they took coffee and drinks into the sanctuary. I had never seen that either but to each their own.

I was raised Southern Baptist and in my adult years attended Independent Baptist churches. Women were not allowed to even wear dress pants in the Fellowship Hall of the Independent Baptist churches. So, when we started attending a Contemporary Methodist church a few years ago it took me by surprised how people - men and women - were dressed in the sanctuary. Short-shorts, sandles, tank tops, etc, etc. I actually felt guilty wearing blue jeans to church on Easter~I thought back to my white patent shoes, Easter bonnet and gloves knowing my Momma was turning over in her grave. I was going to watch just to see if anyone we know is on it this year but I am enjoying the new judges. It does aggravate me tho some of the folks they put through that cannot find a note, tune or sing monotone. I realize it is for ratings and many people watch just to see the ones that can not sing. But, I see it as those people took a slot of someone really talented who deserved to get that far! JMO.

I didn't realize that so Thanks for letting me know. I've enjoyed ALL the scents and many of them are totally different from anything I've tried before. I have always stuck with the Cinnamon scents most of the year. I'll be ordering some when Tressa has her party. I had wondered the same thing but that makes a lot of sense aka Scents. :rofl:

Most folks on p.com I don't know their name to look them up. I have LOVED being on FB and reconnecting with friends I haven't seen or talked to since HS and College. Everyone was busy with their own lives, careers, raising kids, etc and just we lost contact. It has been WONDERFUL!!! Most are exactly as I had predicted them to be - haven't changed much in either extreme. The biggest surprise was the preacher's kid who worked in the local hospital as an orderly during HS - now he owns several medical service businesses and is a multi-millionaire with a second home in Jamaica.
