I heard a report on TV that when she went missing she was helping her uncle sell flowers in the parking lot of Little Caesars. He went inside the restaurant to pick up something to eat and when he returned to the parking lot she was gone. This is different from the article posted in this thread. Not that it matters but it doesn't sound like she was inside eating with the family and simply walked out and disappeared. I agree.......something isn't adding up.

That is a good possibility. Could be the girl realizes it has been blown out of proportion and didn't expect it to go this far. They have said in the news that the family had met this Nancy and maybe the girl went for a joy ride or whatever and then realized she had been reported as kidnapped. That would be a HORRIBLE feeling.....if she went there voluntarily or not. She might not be able to leave now and doesn't know where she is. Regardless of how or what happened this Mother cannot help her child.

This saddens my heart as Sister Melva was such a sweet and loving Lady with the voice of an Angel. She touched so many lives with her testimony and in song. There is comfort in knowing she is no longer in pain and is now singing in the Lord's Choir. I've been posting on Eddie and Shannon's FB pages for the past week or so and keeping up with Sister Melva. My thoughts and prayers continue to be with the family. Sending love and condolences.

While watching the WSB noon news and the coverage of the missing 12 year old girl I couldn't help but wonder "are they giving out too much information?????" I am concerned that the news media (and not just WSB but that is what I was watching) is giving the public TOO much information. They are reporting both on TV and their website about the 12 year old having a chance to call her mother and they reported the mother told her to call 911. Obviously she hasn't had an opportunity to call the authorities. You know the perpetrator is watching the news and now knows about this call. What do you thin

I am not surprised to hear this. When Eckerd's moved and Winn Dixie (it's been awhile)closed it didn't leave much in the shopping center to pull customers. Someone pretty much had to be going there just to go to Dollar General. DH buys all the cleaning supplies, dog food, cat food, etc at the one on Bus. 6. Wade has performed at both of these venues and they are both really good. Ben Hill Strickland is beautiful with the stage sitting in front of the lake and there is no bad seating. My concern with both would be is there enough seating??? Another idea would be if someone had land to do it. He also used to perform at the Alabama Outdoor Jamboree. It was big time, tho and they had acts such as Rascal Flatts, Aaron Tippin, Josh Turner, etc, etc. They would rent the huge lighting systems because the big acts would perform at night. Went to Benson's and tried something different. DH got a pork plate with corn on the cob and potato salad. I got a half rack of ribs (YUMMMMM) with a baked potato and fried okra. We usually go every Friday night and get their great steaks. But tonight our meals were VERY good and something totally different.
