The Osh Kosh has had some great deals and that is where we do most of our shopping for the kid. Thats about the only place we find deals worth talking about.

The way I see it you have two paths of creation and both put us on top of the food chain. I plan on utilizing that position as long as my mouth can chew meat!

I heard the decrease was caused by around 500K people who stopped looking for work and were removed from the numbers. From the Dept of Labor What are the basic concepts of employment and unemployment? The basic concepts involved in identifying the employed and unemployed are quite simple: People with jobs are employed. People who are jobless, looking for jobs, and available for work are unemployed. People who are neither employed nor unemployed are not in the labor force. So if you give up looking for work, you are no long counted towards the unemployment rate even though you w

I hear that word on the radio, TV, and walking down the street. It's used all over the place very often and no one raises an eyebrow... unless it comes from a white mans mouth. Big double standard here and the reason I don't give much weight to people finding it a hurtful word. If it were that hurtful it wouldn't be embraced by the culture that it supposedly degrades. Either stop using the word all together or except its use by everyone.

Sounds like this is based on your opinion? Have anything scientific to back it up? Many have the belief homosexuality is a choice. Why should your opinion take a precedence over theirs? -

Animals can't give consent. Children, when the become an adult can. I don't see how this is any different than homosexuality. If an adult gives consent, then leave them alone. Can't have it both ways... -
So what happens when someone is stationed in a state with sodomy laws? In most of these states any gays having intercourse are breaking the law. Should the military ignore local law in these cases??

Why couldn't it have been a "sick, sick woman" who started it? Those of you trying to place the blame all on the father need to take a serious look at your prejudices. -
This isn’t going to change the way people think or treat others. I severed with a few I felt were gay and I am certain had this ruling been in place then nothing would have been different. I think this was simply a political stunt to show they are “doing something” and nothing more. I find it hard calling the ability to list your sexual preference on military enlistment papers a civil right. Seems a bit if a stretch…

Personally, I feel what two consenting adults do with their personal lives are their choices and I should stay out of it as long as no one besides the two adults are "harmed". It doesn't matter if I agree with it or not. Either party could have said no at any time but neither decided to. Its their life, let them live it the way they want. If I disagree with the life style, I'll look away and stay out of it. It only affects me if I let it.... If one is charged, they both should be. -
Don't act like you're some kind of neutral party in this. This type of law directly affects businesses like yours and you know it. You are, if not more so, in the same boat as Hank, Jr.... If you don't like your Internet service, you can always find another. Problem is you'll need to pay more for it. If you want a guaranteed amount of bandwidth you can start with a T1 and move up from there.

You're working on existing pipes that probably have lots of dark fiber and plenty of open conduit. It's cheap to run now because all of the massive overhead costs has been spent earlier. All the work needed to turn on or run new fiber under roads, across bridges, and into building has been completed. Now the easy part is sending light down a cable. Bandwidth is very cheap when all your nodes are connected via fiber and the backbone connecting those points have bandwidth to grow. That isn't the case for most of rural America. You're still talking T1's to DS3's in a lot of places! How many

Yes and no... Getting bandwidth at a major point of presence (big business area) is cheap. Getting additional bandwidth to a house that shares a single connection with 10 to 100 other houses is not. Look at a telephone pole and the wire on it near your house. That is where your "internet" comes from. When you need more "internet", more wires have to be hung from those poles. Do you really think that is cheap? I don't think I'll be able to change your mind because you won't accept any other outcome. What I am doing to trying to explain the truth behind this argument so others can m

In the simplest terms that is what Net Neutrality does. It tells companies that must allow others to access it without worried of being denied or charged for it. The argument is that not allowing this access prevents growth of needed or desired services. Companies like Comcast have been doing this kind of thing for a long time. What is happening now is there is big money going in to congress from companies who want something for free and companies who have to pay something to give it to them free. Both sides are spending big $$$ to get their way. I can see both sides of this and

Basically it says you, the owner and payee of a company, do not have control over which is yours. It's the same thing as the government saying you must open you bedroom and refrigerator to everyone who wants to use. Oh, and you don't have to be compensated in any way either. It is all free to whom ever wants it.
-
You're halfway there... You're missing the Comcast half... Netflix pays Level 3 for their connectivity. That gives them direct access to ONLY Level 3. From the Level 3 piers with other large carries with one of them being Comcast. This can be free or based on utilization. If it is mutually benefiting to both parties they may pier for free, if not one will pay the other. Its obvious this a partnership doesn't benefit Level 3 and Comcast equally because of Netflix traffic. Netflix requires a massive amount of bandwidth when compared to a "normal" user. Comcast's network is based o

These two comments have me confused.... You seem upset a judge allowed a father to spend time with their father yet somehow shrug off the most responsible parties liability in protecting the children??? Whats up with that?

I think this is a bit silly really. Will things get worse? Who knows... Even in bad times life is still living. We'll all experience bad things but they'll also be many, many good pieces of life that can't be had without having the opportunity to live. Would you rather live a life of uncertainty or never have lived at all?

I worked at AJC not to long ago and can confirm they were extremely liberal on the publishing side. It was really odd there sometimes because the paper was basically two different companies. You had the "news" side which was the extreme left and then you had the rest of the company that took care of everything else and was your normal mix of political people. Some far left, some far right, but mostly middle ground people. That was a really cool place to work and was run in to the ground by people who refused to accept their way wasn't working. To be fair though, I think the family th

From WIKI but you can look up you're own stats if you'd like... Violent crimes dropped over the last couple years, but are still higher than they were in 1960... People had news outlets "back in day" and when extraordinary things happened they were talked about nationwide. Then you heard or seen maybe a couple nasty things a year. Now it's on a weekly basis. Besides, this doesn't address my comments above about the reasons for decline of our society. We went through dark periods before and then had a good run of decent behavior among the vast majority. Now we're headed back

That’s the answer I am going with... There are many pieces to it and all one needs to do is look at the paper and watch the TV to see the reasons. We live in a world were most everyone thinks they're owed something from there is just breeds anger and hate. Accountability is pretty much gone. Criminals have more rights than law abiding citizens and in many cases are better taken care of. Mistakes and bad judgments are excused as someone else’s fault. Greed is now the driving force for many. How many acts of kindness happen with out the expectation of something in return? Few are wi

I rub my dog’s nose in it if he poops someplace I disapprove of… Let this serve as your warning!

Why do I think of women dealing with "empty nest" issues when I watch that?

Oh, I'm not hatin! There was some entertainment during those days that was to good to be free. While I was here for the fun of it some were secretly (and not so secretly) plotting my demise! Things changed and I retired that character.
