  1. Really? More details, please ... Are they suppose to be for sale? Edited to add: I understand that people donate all different amounts of money. I don't understand why the person didn't just donate $100 vs. buying the bell.
  2. So her brother wanted to be shot and killed? Sounds so painful for all ... Prayers for them to find much needed peace.
  3. It's true I've asked questions and have visited many churches locally. I've lived in many other areas and have always found a very loving strong spiritual church in every other place. And here in Paulding County and ONLY here I have heard a pastor and "Christians" from several different churches say mean hearted things about vegetarians---people who are different than them---just because they do not eat meat!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  4. It has NOTHING to do with free food. Please re-read my first post. IT IS ABOUT LOVING SUPPORT FOR ONE ANOTHER. I clearly state that the church I describe was one I was a member of BEFORE moving to Paulding County. I lived in other states before moving to Georgia. I would love to go back to one of those churches---because of the LOVE the members had for one another, the loving encouraging messages the pastor gave ... I could go on and on .... Mods, please close this thread. It's clear that most don't understand that the church I described is NOT local and offered LOVING SUPPORT for everyone in
  5. I'm looking for a church with Christian beliefs. It's just nice to have people that are supportive. For example, people from the church that I mentioned brought me vegetarian food they made when I was recovering from surgery.
  6. If it's the kind of thing where everyone brings something I often bring a large salad and rolls or a vegetarian entree---or both. I just wondered if anyone might know of some churches locally where I wouldn't be the only one wanting vegetarian food. . I know some teenage girls do. I just don't know about locally---at what chuches.
  7. The church would have various get togethers where people could relax and get to know one another better. Sometimes pizza would be served. Other times there would be cook outs, or an outing to go bowling, etc. It was a great church.
  8. I used to go to a church where the pastor was considerate and when pizza was served he would always order enough cheese pizza for those of us that don't eat meat. That was before we moved to Paulding County. Does anyone happen to know any local churches that are considerate of different diets and provide some meatless options?
  9. One reviewer said that she could see what was on her laptop wirelessly on her Smart TV. Can anyone confirm this?
  10. What kind of remote control does it have? Does it have a small keyboard?
  11. Has anyone bought a Smart TV recently? How do you like it? Can the screen display everything that can be seen on a pc? How easy are they to use?
  12. Here is a link to the daily discount codes for the next few days: https://clearance.bestbuy.com/static/12days
  13. When I googled the model number it came up $549.99 at the Gateway website: http://us.gateway.com/gw/en/US/content/model/PT.GBR02.001

  15. I don't know of anyone. I just had to comment on your clever use of * for star in the title.
  16. Have you used it yet? What size crackle does it make? Does it clean up with soap and water?
  17. I love the original The Gazebo starring Glenn Ford and Debbie Reynolds, but I would also like to see a version with new actors. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ya38wb1TvBw
  18. Thanks for your concern. The projects I've looked at use either craft type acrylic paints or latex paint. You can use Elmers glue all between the layers. From what I understand the paint and glue dry at different rates and cause the cracks to form. I don't know if other products sold for crackling are water based or not. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5moPLosT0kY Edited to add: Can anyone tell why the image of the video didn't show up? I clicked on the boxes like I've done before ...
  19. The Elmer's glue website says that using a thin coat of glue makes finer cracks and a thicker coat makes larger cracks: http://www.elmers.com/diy/project/crackle-finish
  20. Did law enforcement shoot the tire, thinking the robber was in the Fed Ex truck?
  21. I'm interested in a making a crackled finish for a craft project. Have any of you done this before? Did you use commercial products to make the paint crackle? I remember reading a long time ago something about glue being an option. Also, what determines whether the paint crackles into large or small pieces? 22. Do they have better things than the one in Hiram? I've looked at thrift stores locally for jewelry and some other items for arts and crafts and the selection and prices aren't very good.
