  1. Nope. Thankfully I wasn't that stupid. I realized I had it pretty damn good, moved out on my own at 19 and other then my wife and I having to spend a couple weeks on their sofa prior to our move to the ATL because our house sold faster then we thought I have never had to stay there again unless it was for a visit.
  2. ...and its ALLLLL coming back. Neon, acid wash, tank tops, even saw pegged pants with socks pulled over them at the store the other day. Can't wait for the big hair to be back in style
  3. You said that the US is the ONLY team that wears clothes not made in their country during the olympics. They are not the ONLY team, as proven in my photo. THEREFORE you are 100% wrong, as they are not the ONLY team.
  4. 100% false. Most of the athletes wear Nike. Nike DOES NOT make clothes in every country. One example, Russian Hockey. Nike does not produce goods in Russia according to their website.
  5. I was waiting for this response. The fact is that it is an American company making these uniforms. They are just being put together overseas. The KIA assembled in W. Ga. is not an American car. The Camaro assembled in Canada is. Dodge is a whole other issue as they were an American company now owned by a foriegn one so that is a complete mess. Americans want it all. High wages, awesome benifits and CHEAP prices on the goods they by ALL while making everything here. NEVER. GONNA. HAPPEN.
  6. The fact anyone is shocked by this is laughable. We have done it to ourselves. We refuse to pay the extra that it cost to make goods here as we demand high salaries, benifits etc and then we are outraged when everything is made overseas. Can you imagine the outrage if the uniform was funded with tax dollars?....but we are going to nit pick where they are made at as a donation? A lot of folks need to get over themselves and wake the truck up.
  7. That was an all time classic game. If you look at the NFL talent on those two rosters it's crazy.
  8. Now THAT was funny. Can't wait till Michigan ends 'Bamas back to back dreams on opening day this year.
  9. Best burger I have had was called a sunrise. 2/3 Angus Beef on texas toast with a sunny side up egg, thick cut bacon, 'mater and raw red onion. I little spicy ketchup for kicks. AWESOME.
  10. ...and you are making a big assumption about me aren't you? I have been lucky and have not lost my job. I'm ALWAYS in the trenchs looking for work, you should ALWAYS be looking for the next bigger and better job. I hate to say this but I put out a resume two weeks ago and got 2 interviews and an offer within a week....and my degree isn't from a school nearly as well known as yours. I think a lot of folks got too comfortable and forgot to keep up to date on their job hunting skills. Jobs are out there. Look at Linked In if you don't believe me. My point is that the value of a degree, AN
  11. I see pros and cons, but much like the fair tax it isn't going to happen so I'm not losing any sleep over it.
  12. Thats because we have dumbed down a college degree to the point EVERYONE that wants one gets one. Got an internet connection? Know how to fill out a student loan form? Congrats you have a college degree.
  13. No, its the media driving a lot of it. Resturants are full. Hotels are full. Cruise ships are full. Airplanes are full (and the reduced cap. is not THAT large a number from what I can see and I fly often for work). Those that have lost their jobs are feeling the burn but if you were able to maintain employment you aren't hurting that bad. Sure gas and food cost more, but it isn't the doomsday end of the world everyone likes to talk about. I think some of the fall out is less a economic issue and more of a darwin one.
  14. So what should we do....considering the SCOTUS already ruled on it you can't get any higher in the courts. Maybe form a milita and head to DC?
  15. are they all named Evander? Oh, wait. Wrong boxer.
  16. Undergrad? Yes. I was still in Grad school at 25 but then I guess if you are in grad school your sheeze is somewhat together. This "generation" is a joke. I have kids that are in my division at work that are only 5-6 years younger then me but are JUST getting out of school and starting their career. Whats worse is they have NO idea the amount of time and effort it takes to work up the ranks. I'm SOOO glad I didn't have a daughter, I can only imagine what the avg. male will be like by time my kid grows up.
  17. I saw him fight once as he was climbing his way up the ladder. It was a "Friday Night Fights" setting at the arena the Red Wings call home. He was a beast. Don't recall who he faught but the dude had to have pissed himself after the first few shots to the jaw.
  18. Still one of the greatest boxers of all time in the ring....which is all I really care about.
  19. Duh. This isn't realated to IT, this is for EVERY open job that is out there.
  20. All true as well. The ONLY reason we got the LT warrenty was because they threw it in to sweeten the deal as they knew we were shopping between them and the other shopd down the road. The stuppiest thing is that it is not transferable, meaning when (and we hopefully will be soon) we sell the house the new owner doesn't get the same deal we did.
  21. only fools vote themselves new taxes.
  22. You basically need to read the fine print. When we replaced our unit we got a "lifetime warrenty" on select parts but it doesn't cover labor etc.
  23. Agreed. Two Chicks Dr. is in the clear. Two Dudes, Dr. obviously missed his mental illness and is at fault.
  24. I'm shocked. I'm shocked they wasted thousands of dollars doing a damn study on it. Wait. No I'm not.
  25. Just an FYI, Nashville is at 3.35
