  1. So what are the upgrades? My wife is now an Apple Fan Boy and wants a not so smart phone from them.
  2. In my fridge right now... Bell's Michigan Cherry Stout Founder's Breakfast Stout Sam Adam's October Fest Dog Fish Head IPA 90 Boddingtons (SP?) Pabst Blue Ribbon Love craft stouts and IPAs....but I like a good ice cold cheap American beer after mowing the lawn or while watching the game, grilling etc. and PBR is the way to go. Used to be a High Life guy but PBR has a little bite to it.
  3. Do you really think I was seriously saying we should go to war?
  4. Yes. Let's start anouther war over this. Full scale. That's a great idea. Makes a lot of sense.
  5. Carlton from the Fresh Prince of Bel-Air died today as well on facebook.
  6. Direct TV for TV, ATT for internet and Cell. ATT has a bad rap for cell service but I find them to be MUCH better then the other two providers. yes their customer service leaves a lot to be desired but at least my phone calls go through. Can't say the same for the other carriers.
  7. Was the reduction in fines greater then the cost of the class?
  8. ...and let me guess, there are court cost that they will have to pay. More money grab.
  9. What a concept. Trust goes both ways. My MIL read my SIL's diary or something to that effect. Well she read it wrong because, well frankly 14 year olds don't have the best grammer. It blew up in her face. 2 years later SIL came to me and my wife when she had an issue rather then her mother. OH, and if you DON'T (not directed at you NC, people in general) think your kid is getting drunk, getting high and getting laid....they are. Just saying.
  10. Asking price means nothing. I can ask 1 million for my home, even if I know it is only worth a third of that. The fact the asking price is lower is because of all the foreclosures as well. Per your link the asking price is up month over month and it supports my post that inventory is declining and has been for some time. That and we are seeing the market settle out at what things are truely worth. You won't see the over inflated prices anymore, which in the LONG run is a good thing. As for median income I just pulled the numbers from USA Today, figured they were a good source.
  11. pssst...Ga. is not the whole nation. You will notice that when comparing the US avg. with the avg. for L.A. with the avg. for Atl that a few months prior to the election all three were at or above 3.99 a gallon with L.A. at well over that closer to 4.60 so yes the national avg just months prior to Obama was far greater then it is today... (plug in any of the data points you want to see that the 1.84 a gallon when Obama was sworn in was around for all of a month at best depending on the city) http://gasbuddy.com/gb_retail_price_chart.aspx Now, lets look at homes... Here is a loo
  12. Agreed. However, that doesn't mean you just hand the keys to the opposite party when their ideas are just as poorly thought out.
  13. It amazes me that folks want to look back and blame Obama for everything when the root cause of the issue was WELL before he was in office.
  14. Spin Spin Spin The gas prices were off of a record high just a month and a half prior, well over 4 dollars around much of the nation. The 20% increase over the course of 4 years is normal market inflation. It has nothing to do with Obama and would have happened no matter who was President. Home values declined due to issues well before Obama and Bush and are now rising in most areas of the country. They may not be rising as fast as folks like, and they will never return to their inflated prices we saw before but they are no longer declining except for pockets of the nation that ar
  15. I'd say about equal. I would be better off if it wasn't for a job relo that ended up costing me much more then anticapted as I finally got sick of our house in PC sitting on the market and the land we bought to one day build our dream house on doing the same so I gave up and took a big loss. Obviously the addition of a child and inheriting my Grand Father In Laws farm has put a dent in my cash but I wouldn't do that any other way. The increased cost of gas and food has us trimming back on some luxury items so we don't effect our savings but it's really not that big of a deal.
  16. Like I said there isn't much I would have to worry about. Photos are all backed up on cloud drives. Insurance and important papers are on USB drives in a safe deposit box at my folks place which is 800 miles away. So in short I would pile the wife, the kid, the dog, some clothes, my phone, my labtop bag, food for dog, my Grandfathers WWII gun and dog tags in the car and leave. The rest could float away and I'll rebuy when I get the insurance check. I have lived so many places that I view my house, furniture and most everything else as what they are. A structure that can be rebuilt and items th
  17. Exactlly. I have family that lives right on the ocean in Fl. They have a plan were if need be they can get out with everything then hold irrepacable in less then 30 minutes. Now a days it easier. Photos etc can all be backed up on to cloud drives or kept in saftey deposit boxes on flash drives. Same with insurance info etc. Basically the kids, the dogs, and a couple of the antique family items are all they plan to take. They even have spare suitcases packed so they don't have to worry about attempting to grab clothes. Are they a little parnoid? maybe. but better prepared then running arou
  18. Can I find this when I google Disney Porn?
  19. ...no sheeze, but you know the risk no matter where you live. If you live along the coast you have huricanes. Live in LA it's earhquakes. Live in the plains it's torandos, live in the south and southwest it's the heat. up north its blizzards. My point is no matter where you live you know the risk involved and should be prepared for them. It's a simple fact of life.
  20. Well at least her ass is covered when she is skinny is all I'm saying.... ***I just realized the OP is actually taking this seriously. Walking away skeered for society....
  21. ...and she has pants on. Something "Fat Daisy" doesn't.
  22. Pretty much anyway you can make them. Sunny Side Up with a good medium T-Bone and then some great Rye bread to soak up the egg and juice from the steak is my favorite.
  23. Sweetheart Disney is anything but innocent. Or do you just not get all the adult humor that is laced throughout thier movies and shows?
  24. Patience. Traffic is a nightmare at AMS. Other then that the typical. Beer, Soda, Chips, Small Grill and stuff to Grill, Bottled Water and cash. Atlanta isn't that bad for noise, never needed ear plugs there.
