First off, I'm hoping that my eyes don't fly open at normal time, and that I may actually sleep till 8am every morning. [We get a long weekend here... it's four days for us! The kids get 2 days out of school.] I am sure we'll have one Family Sushi Night during this break.... boil some peanuts.... hang out and laugh till our sides hurt... family time.

That's terrific! Congratulations!
-
Glad to read an update!!! (((((BIG HUGS )))))) to you both.
-
How great is that???!!! Thanks for all you do Anita!
-
Yep! We are in agreement.

Go watch it. The guy has issues. You don't have ticks, twitches, and jaws clenching like that unless there are other issues at work.
-
Yep!!! It would have been ON had that been my child. I would have started hitting the guy with my fists, or whatever I could have grabbed hold of around me. He deserves to be charged. Momof3 - did you watch the video of him in court? The guy was twitching so much I was afraid he was going to implode.
-
You got it LPPT! Good juju coming your way.
-
NavyEagle - did you go to school to learn to be an asshole, or is it just natural? Seriously. WOW! Me letting it fly just a second ago is the result of lack of sleep and no patience for thugs, bullies, or assholes. (At least at the moment.)

It would have gotten very ugly, very quickly, had that been MY child. A stranger has no right to lay their hands on your child like that. None, nadda, zip. And I bet the ol'coot wouldn't have done that had there been a Dad standing there with the kid. My hubby would have ripped his head off. The proper thing to have done would have been to leave the area and find a manager to complain to. Otherwise, he should have scooted on off to another area of the store. I just watched the video of him in court. Did anyone else notice how bad he was twitching and flinching, an

Have a blast!

Thanks QST! That's what I'm hoping/praying/thinking -- and we possibly will know tomorrow.

I am not awake. And I want to know this. Why, on a morning that you could sleep in if desired, do your eyes fly open at 5:30am, yet on a day when you must get up at 6am, you're sleeping like a baby? What in the world is up with that? Have to take my Mom for a nuclear bone scan today -- will be patiently waiting for the results. It's been a rough month, to say the least.
-
Not sure I'd say this is a "ghetto" thing. This has been happening there for YEARS. Seriously! I've seen quite a few fights up there during tball/baseball as well as football season. And some of those were as long ago as eight years ago! There's always going to be a segment that is going to go at it.

I think they are attention whores at this point.

I just posted this in a thread in the political forum that's going on about forced flu vaccinations and/or mandatory quarantine otherwise. Thought I'd post it here too: You know, I think we should start going after all the uncircumcised penises in the world. I mean, seriously. Let's start lopping off that extra bit - it can only cause harm to others. Men who are uncircumcised have the potential to spread sexually transmitted diseases far more than those who are circed. It is also speculated that they help spread HPV to women, which in turn causes cervical cancer in some, as well.
-
You do realize that people who get the vaccine can also do all that you just said, don't you? It's not like the vaccination is a magical, full proof, 100% guarantee event. It simply isn't. And what about my own family's health? What about the reasons we choose not to vaccinate? Those health risks mean nothing, because your family's means more????? This is why we have a choice under the law to vaccinate or not. If I'm sick, I stay home. I don't go out and about. I don't send my child to school sick. I wash my hands and use hand sanitizer. I sneeze or cough into my bent arm. I a

Glad to know you're safe!

Polio surge in Nigeria after vaccine virus mutates
SoapMom replied to SoapMom's topic in RECENT TOPICS
Agreed! Vaccinations are not full proof, nor any guarantee. -
You know, I wish people wouldn't get so hung up on *one* ingredient in vaccinations being *the* cause of issues for people. It is my opinion, and the opinion of many others, that it's a far more complex scenario than that. Mix in individual genetics, weaknesses, with a substance that is a mixture of *many* substances in one -- and the fact remains, no one can know how it will affect any one individual. Our immune responses are not cookie cutter, for no two people are exactly alike. Which is exactly why when my husband and I made the decision to not vaccinate our son we did so with great

My child will not get it. No how, no way. We have homeopathic nosodes on the way for our family though. And other meds on stand by if needed.
-
Absolutely!!! I think of Shannon and you often. Please post an update when you have one! (((( HUGS ))))

We'll just have to agree to disagree on a few points. And that's ok. -

Any that contain live viruses can always lead to disease. Period. All the rest can lead to a variety of health issues IMO.
