  1. Thank you! I've never done it and can't wait! Geeze! I'm so sorry to hear you have mono..again?!?! That's awful. I'm putting you on my HURRY! Prayer List right now. Hope you feel better quickly.
  2. the antique shops and whatever else fun we can find. What are you planning?
  3. This is my BIGGEST peeve in life! Parents who let their children rule the family and every decision. I hate it with a literal passion. They all need Dr. Rosemond in their life! It's pathetic that because they won't be the parent and give their child boundaries and follow through with punishment, the child becomes such a nuisance to everyone that comes near them and will most likely end up in trouble as an adult. www.rosemond.com
  4. So many mental problems are in play with something this bad. I think it starts with something in life that causes depression, like death, divorce or abuse...then grows into this monstrous secret that once exposed is unbelievable that it was allowed to get this bad. I think the people feel literally "buried" and just pretty much give up. Very sad for the kids. I hope they all get the help they need and don't just become part of the vicious cycle of our very broken and corrupt system.
  5. Ketle One, soda, splash of cranberry and a lime, please! Hey, Ben and Jerry's started their first ice cream shop in a small college town in the VERY cold winters of Vermont. If people like your idea enough, anything is possible!
  6. Where is Poe's? So many people have raved about it but I can't remember where it is. But, I know it's close to me! YUM! That sounds so good on a windy, chilly day like today. EAT something, Woman!
  7. I love Glen, too. I just couldnt resist that pic though. He takes it all in stride and makes fun of himself. We need more of that .
  8. ...gonna be orange sushi rolls for me!
  9. I live in Cobb county so it's really of no matter to me. But, this has to be the silliest, most passive aggressive and drama stirring thread in recent memory. It would have made me change my vote and go quickly in the other direction. Reminds me of a baby crying.
  10. Do the "canned air" computer cleaner stuff then wrap it in new newspaper for a day or two. Great trick! Newspaper soaks up the smell. I do this if you have a tupperware container or something that absorbs the smell of what you were storing inside it. It really works!
  11. Oooooooohhh! Working on my Christmas list now. I'll take 4! Will PM you. THANKS!
  12. these are all GREAT! I didnt do a carved pumpkin this year . Wish I would've.
  13. I'm ALWAYS something fun, harmless and 'cutsie' for Halloween every year but this year, I'm going dark and spooky...kinda fun to do something different! This is me last year as a Mardi Gras girl . Lots of fun! We'll see what this year's party is like... . What will you be?
  14. Highlighting, coloring and cutting hair today then my fun, part time job in Kennesaw at Elevation Chophouse. It's our annual Halloween Party! All the Elevation girls will be in costume, a live DJ and dancing...drink specials and the YUMMIEST food anywhere! Can't wait! ........ from last year at Elevation...I'm the Mardi Gras girl
  15. I took my blind Doxie, Bridget, on an extra long walk last night and again this morning. It feels so great outside! I cooked up a storm yesterday, cooked a huge breakfast this morning and I'm looking forward to getting together with my Ohio family tonight for Japanese then back to my house for board games til the wee hours with lots of laughter in store. I absolutely LOVE this time of year. So many traditions to replay, cooking for hours and hours for the people I love and sleeping with the windows open and pretty soon, a cackling fire going, too. What do you love about fall? ...sent an extr
  16. I usually find a good recipe and change it over time to make it better or more seasonal, etc. I guess I just keep calling it the name it was originally, which a lot of times, isn't what it is at ALL after a few years of recreating it! Think I need to work on that...THANKS!!! Here's a good, easy and inexpensive one that I've changed some...and my name is NOT Sherry! HAHA! Try this after getting home from work one night. It's fast, easy, healthy and the cleanup time is not more than 10 mins. SHERRY'S SHRIMP, CHICKPEA & FETA PASTA 1 lb spaghetti 1 (15 oz can) chickpeas, rinsed,
  17. Perfect, I'm cooking early and candlelit? AH! Even BETTER! thanks! I hope it will be. I'm already hungry .

  20. so far I'm planning Angus beef black and bleu burgers with lots of cold, crunchy, fresh veggies...bbq baked beans and roasted new potatoes ....but, I need one more side and a good dessert. I might do my apple butterscotch crisp and vanilla ice cream. Oooooooh, I love fall!
  21. That's great, Blue! I know you are both so excited! Just please don't expose that sweet, innocent, beautiful little baby to Dave Matthews!!! That can be your gift to future generations...stop the spread of horrible music. Seriously, you are blessed and congratulations. Don't forget to remind Mrs. Blue daily of how beautiful she is. You don't always FEEL so beautiful while pregnant and this will score you MAJOR points, I guarantee.
