  1. That is sooooooooooooo true. My exhusband tried for almost 20 yrs to change me...big things, little things, trivial things...UGH! I just wanted to be myself. You are BLESSED to have a woman like that. That is a MAJOR deal breaker with me...just love me for me and let me be myself.
  2. disgusting but true. Barnes has my vote the I'm voting Libertarian on every other race. If we keep voting the same, we will keep getting the same :bad:
  3. It's so much fun during the apple festival. IDK which orchard or apple house is the best...I think they are all really good. Also, I passed up a beautiful handmade necklace last year at the apple festival and have thought about it all year . Me, my finance' and his parents are going this year and I hope I can find my necklace! And, share a funnel cake and hot cider with my Honey. I have always heard that Berts pumpkin patch is a great time too...especially if you have little ones .
  4. Madea, THIS one I have always wanted but never had(the person you can't live without)...but there's no question when you feel that way. It feels like a punch in the heart to even think of not having him here...like, forever.
  5. hahaha! What a great post! That made me laugh and I feel the same way. So much can be said with every dot and tiddle! Keep the !!!'s coming!!!
  6. This Freak closed her windows, turned the heat on and is digging her wooly socks out! BRRRRRRRRR!
  7. turn the heat on! I was just turning the A/C up a few days ago . I'm about to find my wooly socks and my warm robe, too. Dang. I think I may need a man to snuggle up to and put my cold feet on, too!
  8. you're right! I did go over and ask her. It's just baked chex mix...lol! And, she gave me a bag of it. It is so yummy and smells like Fall .
  9. awww they sound sweet. I have a paralyzed 9 lb Doxie and a 3 yr old blind from birth, 13 lb Doxie. They LOVE anything warm. It felt so great outside tonight that I took my dinner to the front porch and put the baby's dinner out there too. They liked it for the first 15 mins then were begging to go inside . They are both all nestled in their blankets right now not knowing that their mama is gonna have them go potty outside one more time tonight. Oh, are they ever gonna be ticked with me... .
  10. soooooooooooooooooo freakin good! From next door I can smell it! Should I go beg for a taste or just leave it alone?...................Oh, now I smell brown sugar, too..........TORTURE!!!
  11. Sounds great. You must have larger dogs? Mine are chivering and begging to go inside...lol. They will bury themselves under the covers as soon as they get inside. I call it "making their nest". Poor little cold girls.
  12. I'm a Libertarian all the way and I voted for Barnes already(early voting). He's far and away BETTER than Deal or anyone the GOP has to offer. He is a Dem but NOT a Liberal. Hope he gets in...we cant stand another pandering governor in Ga. And, I cant talk about the so called "underpaid" teachers and cops. I'll be banned from Pcom forever.
  13. wow! Good for you! And, yes it is! I always feel so much better this time of year...lots of energy...that Ga. heat and humidity sucks the life right outta you.
  14. on the front porch with my two Doxies, homemade warm reuben sandwich and a keltle one and cranberry...crisp, fall breeze, a sweater and jeans...I'm a happy girl. Who doesnt LOVE Fall?!?!
  15. he's definitely easy on the eyes and has LOTS of great qualities...I just couldn't call him every hour on the hour and complete the "to do" list he left me everyday...and pick the right color toenail polish and wear my hair and dress the way he wanted...and say the right things and pick the right friends and the right church and drive like he wanted and pay for all of his extravagant purchases like boats, cars, 4 wheelers, trucks....you get the message, I think.
  16. Being in love is..._______________________________________________!
  17. Thanks! I read and loved every response. I dated my husband(now ex-husband) for almost four years and we married when we were only 19. Stayed married 16 years. Never EVER thought I would consider marriage again but I'm considering ...I'll keep you all posted.
  18. Sorry you are in pain. I've had sciatica since I was a teen(37 now). I also have surgery scheduled for Jan. to repair two discs. Def sounds like sciatica. I know it well. Here are the best remedies I know...advil every four hours(its an anti inflammatory)...stretch once a day at least(this helps more than anything)...sleep with a firm pillow between your knees if youre a side sleeper, if you sleep on your back, put a firm pillow under your knees...heating pad whenever you can and hot showers...hot baths in epsom salt or mustard bath helps too(you can find mustard bath salt at most spas)...ge
