  1. awwww, be thankful for a sweet husband that does that sort of thing. They are hard to find . Good for you!
  2. up to my eyeballs in laundry and things on my to do list. My oh so glam life...don't hate! I've been cold, wet, hungry and wanting to get home to my hot shower, crock pot beef stew, cold beer and roaring fireplace ALL day! Any other party animals living it up tonight?
  3. Love Reba and Marriage Ref was GREAT! I think it was just too smart. Yep, too smart for the masses. I mean, the guests on each episode were HUGE stars and were totally candid on it. I hope they revive it. It could really turn out to be a classic with a huge cult following, IMO. I saw the super cutie that plays Van from Reba in some new Showtime or HBO show. I dont have either channel so I saw it as a fluke. Anyway, he's playing such a horribly different role! A demented, druggie living in the hood or something. He's a great actor in it but it was hard to see him not all cute and funny like he
  4. NewsRadio(thank goodness I have all seasons on DVD...just wish there were more) and Boston Commons. Two genius shows that didn't last long enough. My new hopefuls are 30 Rock and Fairly Legal.
  5. I can't wait to see ya Subby! I even took the night off . Think I can get a lil Floyd Cramer and maybe Billy Joel "Good Night My Angel" if you know it... ? Any way about it, it'll be great to be back at the old spot and to hear you play ANYTHING is a treat.
  6. Just looks reaching, arrogant and plain silly to me. The blonde, blue eyed, European Christ is just as ignorant an idea. But, I guess our gov thinks we are this gullible.
  7. Thank you. I'm packing now and wish the weather wasnt so crappy but it IS Feb U ugly, afterall. He is flying in from the middle east as I type so I know he will NEED the spa and some sleep.
  8. I'm comin' over! Everybody's dinner sounds sooooooooooooo good! I need cold, nasty weather, comfort food tonight. I'm gonna make grilled chicken with broccoli and rice with melted cheddar on top... a mixed greens salad with miso ginger dressing and TONS of fresh veggies. And, my favorite beer .
  9. oh? Are you not "man" anymore? are you finally "post-op"? hey, YOU went there! .............................................................. !!!
  10. Ewwww, maroon? Sweet fancy Moses. Well, I'm gonna make the most of it. The company will make up for the bad decorating and the so so wine. I DO agree on the Biltmore. We actually were just there and it was amazing. Took the Behind The Scenes Tour along with the standard tour and a VERY good dinner at Grove Park following a day at the spa where I was turned to COMPLETE mush... Great service at dinner(which is my thing). I had the grilled trout and it was perfect. It's just nice to getaway and I'm not gonna complain, although I'll have to zip my lip if maroon is involved .
  11. Happy Birthday, Chelle! Hope you enjoyed it and there's NO way you're ALREADY 25? Subby, you are a good man and a BLESSED man!
  12. I am so sorry to hear this. I am praying for this family and hope they find peace. I cannot imagine.
  13. Dia, you are awesome and that man of yours...well, he's just awesome too! I havent seen you both in way too long. I would rather get moved and settled and have you all over for dinner and throw back a few. It'll be a little venture for ya but I promise, as always, a good time and you can all just stay the night if will. Miss you. Big hug to L.
  14. I do. It is pre-Civil War and beautiful. Its actually a harpsichord and is IMPOSSIBLE to find anyone who can tune it but I sure have enjoyed it.
  15. Oh yes most definitely, Postman. Dictators are arrogant and make it known while they are busy winning the affections of desperate and hungry citizens during a time of war and financial hardship. Only to get them in their clutches after the bulk of them become totally dependent on the government. That's when the evil becomes obvious and it's too late to turn back. Hitler, Stalin, Castro...and we are headed that way too.
  16. I wouldnt ask anybody to do this for free. I'd pay them even if they refused.
  17. This is a very scary situation. I am praying for Egypt, and as always, Israel. Without Egypt as an ally, Israel will be in the Mid East alone.
  18. I won't be moving enough furniture and boxes to need a moving company but definitely more than a couple of us can or care to try to do by ourselves. I know about 2 Men and companies like that but with the economy the way it is, I would rather give my money to people who need it in my community. I'm looking at around a month from now maybe 5 weeks. So, if you have a truck and can help move for probably 4-6 hours, I'll feed you a jam up homecooked meal, keep you laughing, put some cash in your hand and a case of your favorite beer . I'm thinking 2-3 people will be perfect...I'll have another
  19. I'm looking so forward to a little getaway later this week to Chateau Elan. I have been a couple of times to the winery and spa. I've done a couple of weddings there too (which were amazing!). But, I've never had dinner there or stayed overnight. If you know me at all, you know I'm a total "foodie" and get really excited about having a nice dinner out. There are a few choices but I'm game for any of them. Although, Mediterranean is usually my favorite...wait, I mean, other than seafood...and French cuisine...but then I can hardly turn down a good Irish Pub, but Southern has to be my TRUE fa
  20. I've eaten there a couple times now and it is really good! The atmosphere is lots of fun, too. Have a good time.
  21. Yeah, Babe...I feel ya. I, too, lead a very glam life. I get to do a weeks worth of laundry and clean bathrooms and vacuum tomorrow. Dont hate! BB, I want your life for ONE dang day! JK! I love that you've worked you hinney off to be able to enjoy life now...you rock! Beach bonfires are awesome. sounds nice...I will be reading late tonight too...I'm the last in the world to read Harry Potter and now I cant get enough! haha! Whatcha readin'?
  22. I'll be cocktail waitressing tonight as every Saturday night and always have a great time there. We have live music on the weekends so that makes it even better . However, I AM planning to go hear Subby in Hiram next Saturday night with a bunch of friends and can't wait for that! At the Olive Tree. Who's going to see him play tonight? And, what are everyone else's plans? I'll be shaking PLENTY of these up tonight....liquid nitrogen martinis!
  23. I love organ music too. I grew up learning from my Mother while she played the organ I grew up with in our living room. We used to turn it up and rattle the windows in the house:). I refuse to go to a church without an organ. It just aint right When Mom was in hospice 2 years ago, I would play her organ for her and there was a wonderful Catholic priest that hospice sent who just so happened to play VERY well, too. He played right out of one of her hymnals and even though she could hardly speak, she moved her mouth to every single word. The organ is part of my life. Cant wait to get to chur
