BBA in Business Management Kennesaw College 1989. But when I know that a MW of $7.25 an hour is being paid in Georgi then I could care less if it is because Georgia passed a new law to do it or just opted to take the more expediant rout of letting the Federal Rate set the amount by default. So would it make you feel better if the state legislators took the extra time to officially adopt a $7.25 rate? Where did you get yours the state college of idiocracy?
-
What are you babbling about now dude. Georgia pays $7.25 an hour for MW. WHETHER they do this on their own or because the Feds required it makes no difference. And before you start bashing on Georgia paying that while others pay more.... you need to do a cost of living adjustment for the state to state comparison first. Some states just cost more to live in because their Liberal government charges outrageous tax rates within their own state.

Just so you know... I did not mean to give this comment a negative or positive rating. I gues I just tapped in the wrong spot. Sorry.

We have discussed the $15 MW ad nauseum. I would think that that wage is about where a wage shoul be in order to do as you want BUT you must now go back to my first 2 questions that I asked in this topic and address them. You are not prepared to accept that SOME JOBS ARE NOT WORTH THE WAGES THAT YOU NEED TO GET IN ORDER TO ACCOMPLISH YOUR GOAL. That is just a simple fact. I do not care about what HR at Wall world has to do. I as a worker should have the common sense and basic knowledge to understand what a jobs worth is and what MY OWN WORTH is. I do not e pect to get paid the same wages as

Let me get this straight... you feel that if someone has a family and the only job they qualify for id burger flipper ( because they are a highschool drop out with a poor work history) then they should get paid the same wages as a certified mechanic, computer programmer, nurse, or some such just BECAUSE THEY HAVE A FAMILY.? You are WOEFULLY misinformed or just purposely lieing. There is a whole laundry list of things that this administration has done to discourage job growth with the top two being Obamacare and the Keystone pipeline. The second one is rated at around 20,000 jobs SQA

And that would be our government holding the gun to our heads.

Yours is a very good question. I have no easy answers. The market should control wages and not be subject to manipulation from unrelated forces. Another thing is to realize that MW jobs ARE NOT MEANT TO BE LIFE SUSTAINING as it would pertain to running a house and family. They are ONLY MEANT TO BE STARTING jobs. Anyone trying to support a family based on being a burger flipper at a fastfood place has made some seriously bad decisions. That job was NEVER intended to do that. The bigger question there is why are they not earning more? Finally I strongly suggest that you talk to this administ

I Increases will be seen from anywhere that experienced an increase In costs. In short if Florida increased MW and a company there was affected by that increase and sold their goods to a business in Georgia, then that business will see increases based upon that. But that did not answer the question of wheter are not there will not be additional costs because of MW based solely upon the fact that costs were going up already as you stated.

So you have 2 choices... make them spend it or take a gun, hold it to their head and take it by force. Let me help you out here, if they hoard their money that makes money scarce. Have a scarcity of something increases its value. If the rich suddenly flooded the market with their money there would be a glut. That pushes the value of the money down. Those that do not have money need to go find a way to earn more and not have it given to them. Go read about wgat QE 1, 2 and 3 have done. Why do you think the stock market is booming? It is because the money being pumped into the economy is going o

Are you trying to tell me that if a business sees a 2% increase in costs because of normal inflation and then sees a 5% increase due to increased wages that they will ONLY raise prices 2% and totally write off the extra 5% beacause the 2% was already coming at them? If that is your perceptiin of how a business operates it is no wonder that soo many economic concepts are lost on you. You are clueless in these regards. And I got news for you... your disribution of wealth chart DOE S NOTHING to address the concept I presented and you responded to. I will thank you to stop posting your ex

And they will go up Even more because of the increase, you do realize that right. You can't just say they were going up anyway and discount the effects of the increase. Economics does not work that way. It is called a CUMULATIVE affect. If you have two things that cause increases they will be ADDED TOGETHER. The economy will not look at it and say" oh we have 3 items that cause price increases but we can only use one" . They would add ALL 3 INTO THE EQUATION.

I am all for paying workers their proper dues, but with tat said I am still waiting for someone who supports this to answer my one question in an inteligent factual manner. That questions has 2 parts. If we raise the MW to a new artificial, meaning the job market did not require the increase "we" decided to force the market, WHAT DO YOU PROPOSE TO DO FOR THE PAY OF ALL THOSE FOLKS THAT EARN ABOVE THAT NEW MW? After all the market did not force the MW increase so there is no upward pressure on those other folks wages. But there will be now, but that does not mean they will get a raise. Now tho

That question was directed at you. That brings up another question... since you are waiting on someone else to answer a question that was directed at you and is only anwerable by you.... who is it that you think is going to answer that question for the both of us? -
I had a very similar experience way back when there was still a First Union Bank. They are Wells Fargo now. Anyway, for a fee of $295 you were supposed to get your vehicle at dealer cost plus their side of the fee amd no other costs. They got 195 and the bank got 100. Anyway we set up a time to go to Roswell Jeep Eagle to go over the deal. They were the closest participating dealership. We get there and they had the car ar the proper trim level. Then they bring out the " offical " discount price. I had already done my research on the car and knew cost. The price was the full retail price PLUS

Some forms not all. And from what I've read most of the regular ones are ready to go. But that has absolutely nothing to do with my above comment. So why did you choose it do quote for this arbitrary thought? -

Where is the native American holiday. I would speculate they suffered far worse than many.

Here is a very pertinent question then... right up your alley. What percentage of US tax payers get their W2s BEFORE Jan 31st? What percentage of US tax payers file BEFORE Jan 31st? BTW It should be noted that they will accept gilings on the 30th not the 31st. Bit TP I must concede that if you are one of society's leeches that did not work or pay ANY taxes at all all year and have kids or other tax credits then you may have to wait a bit before you can file for that transfer of wealth lnow as a tax credit and get your " refund" . Even though by definition refund implies you a -
Yes but most are centuries old. But I have no problem with making new ones either so long as anyone can make their own ones up as well.

Made up holiday http://www.biography...arenga-21315383 But more power to them. I believe in knowing who you are and whence you came as well as keeping up traditions Wonder what would happen if a nonminority group tried to do this today.

I aked you 3 questions. Answer those 3 questiions and you will understand my view on this. I don't care that I can not file my taxes 10 days before the day that the government says my employer must mail my W 2, WHICH I MUST HAVE TO FILE, to me. Please explain how this delay affects me in the least. You are just looking for something to biotch about. -
I know it is entirely possible and all to likely to run a call on someone you know. I have run on several classmates fro high school and even ran a wreck involing my wifes parked car. Luckily no one I know was badly injured, sick or dead. I have heard 911 dispatch to my parents twice already and have many coworkers that have done these things as well. It can truly be a small world. I even had one patient ask me if I used to be with PD. I said I did and they siad I thought I recognized you. You worked my car accident. I am truly sad for this FF but I believe he was better off not knowin

Let me make this real easy for you... if my W 2 goes into the mail on Friday Jan 31, 2013 when do you think I will get it? And with that in mind when will I be able to complete my taxes with that W2 in hand? Will my filing be hindered at that point?
