Each one is sooo intent on aking his question that they totally dismiss the other peoples questions. Similar to this... Good morning bat at ya. I was at the station by Kennesaw yesterday and made it home this morning with little problems. Here ate my observations. Secondary roads are snow / covered but drivable. Avoid hills especially those eith shar p curves. My travrels covered Dallas hwy from the Avenues to 92S. BTW Kroger there is open and has milk/ bread but no eggs. 92 from 120 to 278 is totally covered but drivable. There is 1 car in the middle of the , northbound lane on t he second hill coming from 278. 92 from 278 all the way to Brownsville is in good shape. As always with ice drive slow, plan ahead

That question is better left to your elected officials. And some of it is put towards that already. Where do you think the sand trucks we do have come from? The issue still remains that the monies you want to spend on them have to either come fron mor e taxes or another part of the budget getting cut. Only the Feds can run a tab. And worse yet, those resorces are verly seldom used. Sure it would be great to have EVEEYTHING WE could ever need but we do still have to answer to citizens and taxpayers. I went by Lowes before it started. I got 6 bags of sand. I put them in the back of my truck. Went and filled up my truck plus 2 5 gal cans and a 2 gal can as well. To be hinest I would have done that anyway. When you are at .40 cents per gal off you get as much of the 35 gal max as possible and it was the end of the month. Got home and added 6 bags of gravel chips and a good selection of lumber. About 1000 extra pounds now in the back of my truck. Most of which could be used in an emergency. Let's not forget the whole cost versus need thing as well. Ctizens want to be able to drive whenever they want. That requires preparedness as well as money and resorces. How much money are the citizens, of Paulding for example , willing to pay for equipment, resorces and training for something that MIGHT be used only 1 or 2 days per year. I appreciated my son's bus driver calling me and giving updates. Granted he is one of only a few on the bus but it was nice to know. After the bus could not get through Hiram and my wife got into Hiram I redirected my wife and the bus so they could meet and she picked him. I'm glad she got into Hiram when she did. The bus did not move for an hour and a half. Another parent walked up to the bus to get their child.

I made it from Austin Bridge/ Sweetwater Church up Brownsville to CH James up Sailors and New Macland. Then Dallas Hwy to Due West and then to Kennesaw area. Granted I did it at 0500 to 0600 with few other pwople on the road.

Let's hear from someone who has made it home that way. My wife tag teamed my son's bus that got to 92 / 278 but got no further for hours. Wife got him off the bus at Rosedale hours ago. She called about 30 minutes ago and is on 92 near the park / tennis courts. I did the stretch from Ridge to Brownsville many hours ago. That was not so bad. I spoke with a principal yesterday. He stated that they absolutely wanted to get a couple of hours in today because if they hit 4 snowdays then the schools would have to make up ALL the days. And those days would come out of the winter break. By going to school even those few hours today would not count as a snow day. I understand that but now my son is sitting on his bus at 278 /92. They have been sitting there for an hour and a half. I did try to call the school to aee if I could pick him up or meet his bus somewhere but no one answered.
