It is mostly because floods / flood areas / Flood zones / flood plains are mostly known and predictable. We have what are known as 100 year flood plains. You will / should not be permited to build in one. With that in mind, it is not like the river suddenly just appeared near your house. It has likely been there for a long time and its patterns are fairly well known and predictable. Most of us will never need flood insurance. For those of us that are living near a body of water that might one day cause our home to be flooded, there is the extra insurance. Seeing as most will never use it, it i

Use of cell phones texting link http://www.ghsa.org/html/stateinfo/laws/cellphone_laws.html Seeing who called and calling my wife while driving is totally legal in GA. Playing Farmville, web surfing and texting not so much. -
Bermuda. It is $111 / pallet if you pick it up. $131 delivered with a $75 delivery fee. I do not know if they have a minimum order though. When all is said, getting to Cartersville from S. Paulding and back makes it about the same price (less the fee) with gas. 1 pallet weighs 2500 # (some say it is only 1800# but I will go with the farms numbers) and is all that my trailer can hold with a heavy duty 3500# single axle. 1 pallet covers about 500 square feet. The farm will have fescue this fall and spring. They will also start having Zoysia this spring. I do not have pricing on those.

Other than the fact that my cell phone is my business line with all the things needed to be answered and handled while the very nature of my business requires me to be in my truck traveling around the tri-county area and not sitting in a cubicle answering a land line? That would have been about 2 weeks ago when my wife went to the emergency room with a miscarriage and all I got to begin with was a text. I had to find out which one, where the kids were, who was going to watch them and a whole laundry list of other little things like calling people that needed to be notified. Cell phones hav -

I'm just a trouble magnet, what can I say. I even have that reputation at work. The guys are all like Whoo Hooo, look who's here today. We are in for some fun today. Well, my life is never dull and I usually have some fun stories to tell family and friends. -

I'm sitting at a red light trying to call my wife while standing still. Not texting. Oh yeah, anyone that has ever seen me drive my own vehicle knows that if I am on the phone, I will be using a bluetooth headset. More than I can say for most folks who legally talk on the phone whil driving and trying to hold the phone to their ear. -
You're an idiot!! I'm sitting first in line at the red light 92 SB @ Ridge minding my own business checking my phone. All I here is a bunch of screeching tires to my left. Yahoo here thinks it will be fun to gun it turning left onto 92. I look out the windows to see headlights coming right at my trucks driver window! Yahoo swapped ends on the slick road and ended up going the wrong way on 92 only inches from my door. Grow up dude!! the roads are no pace to practice SUV drifting.

Do you really think cuteness is a laughability factor? Now me knowing Tow and you through him, now that raises the laughability factor!but always remember, we are not laughing at you but with you. I hate it when my phone goes crazy when I post.

Too busy laughing I suspect.

I got mine today :yahoo: I had to go to Cartersville to pick it up though. DD and I got up EARLY and went to the dealership to go get it. Yup... I got me a brand spanking new... PALLET OF SOD!!! It came in green with all the bells and whistles (aka bugs and fertilizer). Even has that new grass smell. I just couldn't wait till I got home to break it in. After 2 -3 hours of prep and lifting I got it just the way I like it... ON THE GROUND!!! I even managed to get it green side up. Pictures to follow shortly. Now I have to go cut other folks grass. L8TR.

I knew Tow would set you straight. It's ok really. You only got Marietta becuse you did what you did in the city limits. Otherwise you would have had me come out there and horse laughing you the whole time.
-
No way has it been 4 1/2 years already!! :o Dang... I'm getting old.

DD (11) does not where booty shorts or yoga pants but I have to ask... What is wrong with yoga pants? Basically sweatpants correct?

I got my PMI dropped!! :yahoo: $55/ month to give the loan company insurance if I default. We enrolled in a medical copay assistance account with the manufacturer of one of my son's medications. $87.50 / quarter. I installed an electric roof attic ventilator. Still assessing but it looks like it is taking about $20 / month of my power bills so far. Total cost to me about $150 and a few very hot hours on the roof and in the attic. I think I will install another next year over the living areas. There is a big difference in room temps from the bedrooms to there and the living room has a 12 fo

Not at all. Just saying that waiting until they loose control is just as irrational solution. Most jurisdictions have a "no pursuit" policy on motorcycles and they take full advantage of it. I am saying that ANY motorcyclist caught doing wht these guys were doing, need to have the book thrown at them. No, it is not really fair for the few that get caught, but the fact that the others would then realize the possible penalties for these violations might reconsider the wisdom of their actions.

And what about the vehicle that he runs off the road because of his recklessness between now and then? What about the vehicle he hits head on? A 750 pound motorcyle with a 200 pound rider traveling at 70 -80 mph hitting another vehicle coming at him at 55 mph (combined speed is pretty much like hitting a tree doing about 125 - 140 mph!) That is going to leave one heck of a mark even on a large SUV!! We can only hope that the Yahoo will run off the road into a ditch. The likely outcome is more that he will strike an innocent driver.

:clapping: But it would never be the fault of the one who actually started the madness, just the one who suddenly decided "WTF & I've had enough of this bullcrap".
-
Spray WD-50 or some other lubricant into the lock and onto the key. Insert key and wiggle / work the lock. Hopefully that will free up any stuck tumblers. Also spray some on the latch if you can. You may also need to let it sit over night after trying this to let the lubricant work its way in.

I would have taken the first motorcyclist and truck driver to jail for reckless driving. The there is no excuse for what the truck did, BUT!!!, the driver is likely a local that has been passed 100s of times by thes crazy motorcylists that pass illegally. He has likely been cut off on multiple ocassions and has grown quite aggravated with the fact that these yahoos do not think the traffic laws apply to them. It could be argued that had the first motorcylist been obeying the law, there would never have been the chance of being "run off" the road by the truck. Did you notice how fast the cyclis

I know that you CAN work with the county on these kind of disputes. I'm not sure why SP's is such a huge deal with the county though. My neice asked me to put up a privacy fence for her at her home off Ivy Gulledge. Her property was in a subdivision but backed up to Ivy Gulledge. So I went to the county office and got with them about the setbacks. They showed me where they were and how to locat them. I checked them against her Iron pins. The set backs were outside the pins but I pushed the fence in another 2 - 3 feet becuse I found it odd that her pins would literally be in the Asphalt as was -

That is what I am wondering. If they have a loosing case, why the continued litigation even after a court order. Not saying anything about your case SP. just that it sure would be nice to have someone from the BOC address this and explain what they are thinking. -
That would be Ford Elementary.
