You are mistaken about what Senator Dugan said. This is what he actually said: He mentioned rail, Norfolk Southern, and MARTA. He said MARTA was inconvenient and that HE didn't take it because HE couldn't get anywhere on it. I would leave it to the folks involved to defend their character. They know how to hire lawyers as well as anyone. Some of the things being said appall me but as I said I am not taking sides.

I have to say that just because you may not be on the same side of this issue it is not enough reason to look into personal matters of those with opposing views.
