I was very impressed with Will. You raised a fine son. Course you didn't need me to say that. You already knew it.

Actually I think it was texting on school issued phones. And they were ugly. If there was an affair between the two school employees (while one was married). I think it goes to ethics. I did not hear that charge today. If there was insubordination she could under Georgia Law be fired on the spot. I hope the truth comes out and the right judgement made. I don't have enough facts to make any call on it at all.

There were some near the turn off Carruth to go to Hiram High School this morning (at the red light) . Never can remember the funny name that street has.

I saw a few today on Bill Carruth between 92 and the Water Dept.

There you go calling names again. Paulette is your Representative and you might need her help one day. Not a good idea to call her names.
-
I don't think Mr. Barnett has been sworn in yet. I think you might want to send one to Mr. Don Powell.

Class Act Will. I expect some good things from you in the future. Cheers!

I enjoy the political debate and thanks for the kind words. I have worried about keeping my friends though this election because I am so out spoken. I expect Paulette to be a great Repesentative because Paulding needs one so badly. I know that right now she is answering the phone when her constitutents call and she is listening. I hope that continues. This is the "people's seat" and I expect them to have the voice that guides her actions in the House.

Board of elections has that breakdown I believe. Just checked the site for election results and the number of registered voters is in brackets there. I think that is what is next to TIMES COUNTED. http://www.paulding....ew.aspx?DID=556

SPLOST PASSES; GOP REBUFFS DISTRICT 19 CHALLENGE
NewsJunky replied to gpatt0n's topic in Paulding County NEWS
I absolutely agree. I just wanted Will to know that it is never a bad thing to stand and be counted. Thank you standing for office Will. I could not vote for a Democrat but you gave it a great shot. -
A rose by any other name...........would smell as sweet. Some things just can't pretend to be anything other than what they really are.

SPLOST PASSES; GOP REBUFFS DISTRICT 19 CHALLENGE

You are right. I liked Will and I thought he ran a great campaign. He could not win with Obama on his side. If he is a true conservative at heart we will see him again without the baggage. -

SPLOST PASSES; GOP REBUFFS DISTRICT 19 CHALLENGE

Paulette and her supporters have worked hard to win this. She deserves to be congratulated. I hope she is the best Representative District 19 has ever had. Paulette you are now My Representative and the People's Representative. Prove your detractors wrong. -
I am so sorry LR. Does she have small children? I will keep the family in my thoughts and prayers.

Don't worry, I am not going to gloat. I think Will and his supporters ran a heck of a good race. If he is truly a conservative I expect to see him run for office again and not as a Democrat. They are not conservatives.JMO

How were the crowds at your voting site?
NewsJunky replied to The Sound Guy's topic in Paulding County NEWS
Yes, but if they are still trying to find a park they can't. They have to be in line. -
Not good. And that is putting it mildly.

Just started a topic on some of the wins. Rand Paul has won the Senate seat in Kentucky and Coats has won a Senate seat in Indiana. Both are Republican. One is a turn over seat. They need 10.
