Florida Judge rules Obama care Unconstitutional

There are organizations that will help pay for that baby to get medical care. I have donated to St. Jude's and there are others out there too. I will gladly give to those in need but do not say I am required to at the same time the government is making the care I am paying for less comprehensive and at higher cost to me. That is unconstitutional. It is a slippery slope. Soon we will be totally controlled by the government if we allow this to go unchallenged. You have lost the privilege to get me to respond to any more of your posts. Name calling and ill manners don't gain you an -

I will repeat. That is not what the Constitution says. It has been abused and lord help us Obama has appointed some more Judges who will abuse it some more given the chance. -

All of us under Obama care would have less care and a poorer quality of care. The poor will do what they have always done and would get the worst care or no care at all. It will be rationed just as it is in Europe. -

No it isn't. Some folks just like to abuse that part of the Constitution. -

I hate to break it to you cause you know I love ya, but I did not give birth to all the folks in the world and it is not my responsibility to pay for their health care. We have enough trouble paying for our own. Health care is not a right under our constitution. I do think in an emergency we should never ask a hospital to refuse care. Yes our taxes should help pay for emergency care. -

That would mean that truly poor people would not get coverage. Please don't say they would because they wouldn't this is a false and bad piece of legislation from the get go! -

But it is unconstitutional to force you to buy a product because you live and breathe. -

The way I understand the ruling is that you can't force someone to buy something and give them NO choice about it. With auto insurance you can choose not to drive and not to own a car. -
News is just breaking so I will look for a source other than Fox News. The judge ruled it unconstitutional but did not put a stay on it yet. Here is one source: http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20110131/ap_on_bi_ge/us_health_overhaul_1

After the recent award to someone whose name was used on a public message board I would just be careful what claims I made against folks. That is all I said. I stand by that Pubby. Surepip is very frustrated and that is truly understandable. I do wish him peace and a just conclusion to his long quest for a day in court.
-
I agree with you SOLO. I can understand surepip's frustration but more trouble from those mentioned is something he probably can do without. I hope for a just and correct outcome in this case.
-
I am so happy for you and the Mrs. Your world is about to change in a wonderful way!
-
Is surepip still in court? What was the ruling?
-
I can't remember which thread it was in but I heard this on the news last night. At the risk of law suit the BOE voted unanimously to keep this year's Graduation at Woodstock First Baptist Church because of the space it offers for a low price.

Orange. Only one that works for me.

I am so happy for you Subby! :yahoo: :yahoo: -
So now you get to accuse me of something that was not my intent. As I said earlier, next time I won't bother.
-
I did not say that it did. I just gave you a link to see the shirts. I thought it was tacky by all involved in it. Next time I am not sure I will bother.
-
Here's the link to one story on the tee shirts. Also has a picture of them on the day of the service. http://nation.foxnews.com/arizona-shooting-rampage/2011/01/13/t-shirts-handed-out-tucson-memorial

Actors and the like having babies before they are married
NewsJunky replied to gog8tors's topic in RECENT TOPICS
Yes, the daddy should be responsible. Not daddy government and not the parents of the Daddy. Should daddy of the boy have to go to jail if his kid robs a store. I don't think so. Personal responsibility is one of the lessons kids don't seem to be taught these days. I agree that marriage could just make the situation worse but it does not change the needs of the baby. I still believe the media glamorizes having a baby without two parents and without the benefit of marriage. You do know the original reasons for marriage were to protect the babies, who are helpless, don't you? Course tha -

Parents did not have the fun and parents would be arrested if they locked the kid up. Some have tired and that was the end result. The very idea that a parent should have to take care of their kid's offspring is ridiculous.
