Far from it! Evil exists in this world and it does not have to be caused by anything. It just is. The blame game should never have started.

My focus is going to be on prayers for the victims and for their families and I think that is where the focus should be.

Well I guess you would have to agree with the Sheriff to see the value in his statements. I think he is doing the same thing some in this thread have done. He is spewing what he is accusing others of spewing.

Doctors seem to think the Congresswoman will survive. She is an amazing lady.

People seem to have strong feelings about this and I think they should go ahead and talk about them. I just left the thread because I got tired of being personally insulted. Let them keep talking. I agree with some of them and really disagree with others.

Knew if I stayed here discussing this issue, you and your friends would get insulting. You don't have to know someone to respect what they are and the strengths they have. She was a blue dog Democrat who voted for John Lewis against Pelosi for Speaker just a few days ago. Yes I think she was a strong outspoken lady who had the courage to stand against her own Party when she thought they were wrong. You don't have the right to say what I think or that I am dishonest. I should have learned my lesson about trying to have any kind of honest debate with you.

I have been listening to them talk about her today. Why don't you find out what McCain has to say. Instead of challenging my statements why don't you find out the truth for yourself. I liked her.

It is my understanding that this lady was beloved by both Republicans and Democrats. I think it is terrible that anyone would say that the Tea Party or Palin or anyone else is responsible for this. The murderer is the one responsible! He is a crazy and if his motives were just political why would he find it necessary to shoot 19 other people? At last count I heard that was the number. She may have been a political figure but other than the Federal Judge who was killed I don't think anyone else was. He was crazy and that is why he did it! I am shocked to see that some folks have to start

I doubt this had any bearing on the shooting. If it did there would have been no need for this crazy to shoot so many by standers.

I agree! I really enjoyed all of those books. I read them to make sure they were appropriate for my grand kids. They were.

Fox News is getting reports that she is still alive and in critical condition. I truly hope this is true. I can't believe you would even go there. I am shocked. I would not have believed you could stoop to that level!

No, sadly it is true (at least 4 dead). Apparently one of the victims was a child. I am sick to my stomach.

There are reports from NPR that she has died. Hope they are not true. Reports from the Hospital are that there are multiple fatalities. Prayers for all of these people and their families. How tragic!

She is from the border area and has been critical of border security. She is known as a Moderate politically. She sounds like an outspoken strong lady.

The gunman is apparently in custody. What a crazy. This is so sad. This lady stepped up to serve and now she has been attacked. I don't know if this attack is political or personal.
