Parent should have spanked his rear or grounded him when he got home instead of backing up his poor behavior.
-
What a wonderful Parent you are. Your Son is a fortunate young man in the areas that count most! I will pray that he accomplishes the goals he has set for himself.

I think we both have the same question. It seems to get worse every year instead of better.

I know, Kennedy is no longer involved but Washington will be and they have not done a great job so far.
-
Bothers me. This will come from the same folks who gave us NCLB.
-
I don't think it will be.

Does he do logos if you have a basic design? I guess that would be cleaning up the graphics and making them look professional.

Amazing that they all made the same list. They all made mine too!
-
Not on my list.

That is one of the things Dr. Barge promised to change. I don't think he was prepared for the Bureaucracy he seems to have encountered. I hope it is changed and soon.

Excellent post! No harm at all but that way there is no incentive for any of them to pass the test.
-
I am actually in favor of trashing the graduation test. I think the End of Year Testing should be strong enough to gage whether or not the student knows the material. I think that is what is going to happen in a couple of years (if not sooner).

Hiram Chiropractor charged in $264,000 identity theft fraud

I won't either! I wish some folks did not blame everyone in a profession when things like this happen. Do you how many lawyer jokes are out there? That profession really gets a bad rap. . This is one person and he has not been convicted. We should hold the individual who did this accountable and leave the profession out of it. JMO -
I think so too!

I take it to mean there will be no REAL Honors Program in this County!!! That is really going to help us to have better schools. What are they Thinking?????
-
I agree with you. What does a student really have at the end of High School if they can't pass a test that by most accounts is not hard. An Honors Student should be able to pass it on the first try. It says something about the system as well as the knowledge of the student.

Congressman Phil Gingrey's Town Hall meeting
NewsJunky replied to LPPT's topic in Paulding County NEWS
I was there and I thought he did do that. I heard Congressman Tom Price speak the next day and he talked about the Caucus they are both in. I think Congressman Gingrey said there were some things they were working on but he could not talk about them yet. Pretty much the same thing Tom Price said. I have to say there were some very informed people at that meeting and they asked him some tough questions. I thought he answered them with candor. -

Every one I have been to has had low turn out with the exception of one. It was right after the jobs really started to go away and the Health Care Bill was being debated. It was in Cedar Town. I enjoyed the one the other night and thought more folks should have come out and asked questions. -
:yahoo: :yahoo: :yahoo: http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20110502/ap_on_re_us/us_bin_laden And we did not! Our Special Forces got him in an operation in Pakistan according to the reports I am hearing.

There were 2 meeting there this morning and the donations were taken at the meetings. Maybe they can take them to Austin Middle School tomorrow morning. I read in another thread that they are collecting there.

How did you add more hours in the day? Sounds like at least 2 days worth of happiness!

Grand kid did one and I know it took a lot of time. I understand the presentation went well. I was relieved to hear that. -

I am sending thoughts and prayers to all innocent parties who will be harmed by this. One of them is his wife.
