  1. They won't be arrested as an illegal if they are legally in the USA. Anyone is subject to arrest if there is reasonable cause.
  2. I do know what the law says and it is constitutional. Law enforcement can not stop anyone unless they are involved in some other violation of the law or they are suspected of violating the law in some other way. Go peddle that somewhere else. I am well aware of what this law does and does not do. You are guilty of scare tactics and a slanting of the truth when you tell folks that law enforcement officers can stop anyone without cause just because of their race. Shame on you.
  3. You mean to say your voting rights should not be protected if you are white? Here is one link about the DOJ dropping charges. The Black Panthers were clearly gulity. They were filmed doing it. Here is another link: http://online.wsj.com/article/SB10001424052970203550604574361071968458430.html but that is all off topic. BTW there will be no need to arrest any illegals if the law does what it is intended to do. They will leave on their own because the businesses who have employed them will not want the repercussions that come from hiring them.
  4. Not true Pubby. We do not have the money to house these folks. Just ask any Sheriff. The Justice Department and this Administration do not want to enforce the immigration laws. They are going through the back door to give amnesty. Who are they protecting the US citizens or the law breakers? At the same time they appear to be ignoring flagrant violations of the voting rights act when the rights that are being violated belong to whites. I said I think you had better read it. Again we disagree but that is nothing unusual.
  5. Well, since it was your son, and you were playing a game I say good for you both!
  6. The law does not do that. I think you had better read it and understand it. I doubt they do want to be citizens. It would be great if they were legal, from their point of view, because they could then legally draw on the system even though they may have a poverty level wage and can't really pay into it. When we give earned income tax refunds do you think most of them would qualify? I do.
  7. You can try to generalize me all you want to. It bothers me not one iota!
  8. I am not for breaking up families. I think the illegals count on their Anchor babies as a way to stay in America. We need to stop allowing them to play our system that way. They know what they are doing and they really should take their children home with them.
  9. At one time I thought it was OK to allow the few that were coming here the opportunity to stay and work. That was a mistake because it has gone well beyond that. The numbers are astounding and the drain on our resources is detrimental to the care of our own Citizens. The last numbers I saw for Georgia were around 480,000. I am OK with increasing the numbers of legal immigrants but it should be immigrants who can provide for themselves and not with jobs at Micky D's. We are importing poverty. Maybe some engineers, doctors, and computer specialists. We may spend more resources defendin
  10. So the Hispanics in some towns are closing shop to protest HB 87. There is opposition to the attempt to protect the borders and the resources of Georgia? This IS NOT ABOUT LEGAL IMMIGRANTS!!!!! Why do the opponents of the law try to twist it that way. I know, it is because it works to cloud the issue and pull at the heart strings of people who do not seem to have a clue about the truth! Here is my thought , if you are illegal close your stores for good and go home where you are a legal citizen. http://www.timesfree...migrants/?local
  11. The folks who come up with more taxes and more give aways will never learn. It won't be long before California asks the government for a big bailout because all of the Citizens and businesses who produce (and pay taxes) have left the state! We, the taxpayers of Georgia, will then be paying for their welfare programs and poor management. Amazon should have won this.
  12. I am sorry. I still hope justice is served in your case. For all of our sakes!
  13. You mean the Frenchies who are having riots in their streets because of their failing economy and the lack of jobs? Three guesses as to why they are broke!!
  14. I was just about to say that I bet they were trying to help the dog. Good for them. Sorry you had to worry so long. Men live to make us worry!
  15. Excellent! Did you notice that the question of race has already been brought up by some?
  16. Not worth the risk when our Commissioners are having to cut funds for the Judicial system and the Sheriffs department. What do they call that? Pie in the Sky Maybe? JMO
  17. I have to question that too. I will be surprised if it makes money for the county. I think the tax break for that industry in GA is also in question. Will they keep coming to Paulding and even if they do why are WE providing a space for them? Just asking. I know you got negatives for asking but I think it is a valid question. Hey, I will love it if I am wrong and it does make money. If it does not, it will be a bit of a black eye for those who took out a loan for it.
  18. I am surprised at some of the reactions to this law and its approval. I don't know what other solution or options were out there for school systems like the Atlanta school board. Governor Deal may now appoint new members to school boards like this one. Anyone have opinions about the new law and the authority given to the Governor? 19. You are certainly free to do that. You might want to check the news reports about problems with rats, bugs, and infection in those hospitals first.
  20. Simple, because it will cause the private option to become unavailable. Then it will become like the crap system that they have in Canada and Europe. Folks have to wait for months to see a doctor and for some of them that is a death sentence. Not to mention the control that gives the government over your very life!
  21. Do you know under what circumstances she was hit? Could it possibly have been a accident? I am so sorry she was hurt.
  22. I am still asking questions about this. I have a couple of concerns. One is the use of imminent domain to the advantage of a privately owned company and the other is the fact that the toll would never stop. How high could the toll eventually be jacked up? Oh yes, and could it be sold to a foreign county? Apparently that is happening in America already. Satisfactory answers to these question would need to be made for me to support it. Right now I don't really know which side I am on in this debate. Link to article: http://www.usatoday....-highways_x.htm
  23. Montego Bay is the best place to eat. There are two locations. One is a little smaller than the other. Smaller one is on Thomas Drive. 473 Richard Jackson Boulevard, Panama City Bch 4920 Thomas Drive, Panama City
