Why are you directing this at me? I have a right to my opinion and a movie pie in the sky I do not agree with. The lowering of the US credit rating along with 12 banks is reason enough not to go borrowing money we don't need to borrow right now. If it works and there are jobs FOR PAULDING FOLKS and this is successful then I will be the first to pat our Commissioners on the back. If it fails they will have to answer for a bad decision.

Don't think everyone's American dream is a BIG house and EXPENSIVE car. For a good many Americans it is just to own their own home without fear of losing it and to put food on the table and clothes on the backs of their children. It is slipping away from far too many of them today. Adult kids are moving back in with parents to survive themselves or to help their parents survive. The American Dream has always, in my mind, been about living without fear and being able to take care of your family.

My kids and grandkids are not poor immigrants. They are Americans who hope and work for all gog8tors spoke of. I am afraid it may not be within their reach anymore. Maybe because we try to take care of everybody in the world. I would add that I think it is also the freedom to keep what you earn and be able to make your own decisions about how to spend what you earn.

Course I'm worried. If the right stock comes along at the right price I will buy. That is the only way to stop the downward spiral. It would help to change the guy in the White House. We need the RIGHT kind of change not what he brought with him.

Course it was the right thing to do. There are still issues that I am not happy about and I would be OK with money being spent to deal with them. Building new schools is not something we need to worry about right now. SPLOST money can only be used on that type of project. Paying back the bond is something I support!

I thought any interested citizen was welcomed to attend. They just have to pay a little more, is that correct? Cost $20.00 members prepaid/$25.00 Members at door/$25.00 non-members prepaid/$30.00 non-members at door.

I question this at a time when the County is laying off folks and cutting to the bone. I do not understand spending this kind of money for a pie in the sky project. This is an event that I won't attend.

SP, I have gotten a chance to meet all of the sitting Commissioners. I believe they think they are serving the best interests of the County in this case. Don't know just what that entails at this point because I don't know all of the facts. I still believe in Lady Justice and I want to see everyone have their day in court.

Judge Beavers knows the law and he is an honorable man. We could stand more judges on the bench like him. I truly hope that this is not what was said!

I expect Cobb will have a new Chair on the Commission soon. I hear Bill Byrne is running against Lee.

Well my post disappeared entirely. It was about the kids who lost their lives to this crazy man. I think this title provoked the response it got.
