shaneful? you think that a picture like this would be *shameful*? so sad. so very sad, indeed. -
Yep, everyone can see it, and when you hover your mouse over it, it shows the name if the person who 'liked' it.

Jeebus...you would think that something as important as a press release would have been proof read before being distributed. -

i agree wholeheartedly. the position i'm taking isn't that she deserved to die because she chose to be fat. she was ill. the airline simply couldn't accomodate her due to her size. she did not seek medical attention for her illness(es). and then she died. crappy story all the way around...but i fail to see where this woman was discriminated against, or treated rudely by hateful people because of her weight. -

i've not even mentioned her weight. this isn't a weight issue to me. regardless of the circumstances, when a person knows they are sick and refuses medical treatment, for whatever reason.....their death cannot be blamed on anyone else. (unless they are hit by a bus or something) -

i haven't read any of the articles.....but if the woman refused local medical treatment, is the airline responsible for her death? -

does Hungary not have hospitals? -
i can't speak for anyone else. nor did i judge you. perhaps i have you confused with someone else, but i thought you worked at/for a college, just a few years ago? probably a case of mistaken identity on my part. i don't think that person would have been so...blatant(?) about judging someone based on their weight or the car that they drive....

I just think its kind of weird that you're fb friends with a young girl that you haven't seen since she was 7.

Lucky girl! I know the feeling. It was wonderful to spend time with my extended family and their little ones this past weekend.

I lived in the area for a few years. Bush Gardens, Jamestown, and The Pottery are some of my favorites. I never did the actual Williamsburg tour, so I'm looking forward to that. Buckroe beach is also great for an afternoon. Tons of historical stuff between Fort Monroe and Yorktown, but I don't know if the youngins will want to visit there.

I haven't been on a real 'vacation' in 25 years. This year I'm looking forward to a few long weekends at our place on Lake Weiss, a week long trip to Williamsburg to see my daughter(s), and a week on the upper peninsula of Michigan for our honeymoon in early October. The weeks on Williamsburg and Menominee will take a bit of advanced planning. The weekends at the lake not so much.

LPPT, AND NC-17, WHERE ARE YOU GUYS?
NumberCruncher replied to Eddie Bennett's topic in RECENT TOPICS
I have no idea what this post is about. LPPT and I are good friends. We don't agree on everything we discuss. But I doubt a difference of opinion, no matter how heated, could sever the bonds of our friendship. I was on the road all day. Screwed around for a bit in Tupelo and had lunch in Memphis. Brought the total trip time to just under 10 hours. I'm ready for some food and some sleep. Happy turkey day in advance to everyone!!! -
Yep! That's at east paulding and 120.

Oooh! That's close enough to me that I could be talked in to going.
