  1. Agreed, but how does one prove it? The other candidates were simply more qualified or a better fit.
  2. Try getting hired while visibly pregnant. Virtually impossible for me. No employer wants to hire someone whose maternity leave is imminent.

  6. I've got the crud, so I'm already working from home today and tomorrow. I bought normal groceries Tuesday evening, so we should be all set. I'm slightly nervous about my boys driving home from work late tonight though.

  9. So, go find some like minded individuals that you can have intelligent conversations about topics that areutually interesting with. It obviously isn't going to happen here on pcom. Why keep beating your head against the wall, hoping that eventually everyone will agree with you? Makes no sense at all to me. If you think we're all a bunch of ignorant rednecks, why waste your breath and your time?
  10. Oh, holy hell. I'm sure that if I looked hard enough, long enough, I could find an expert's opinion to support just about any theory I could dream up. The funny thing is that I wouldn't care if random strangers believed jr or supported it. That's what I don't get about you, former member. Why do you give a sheeze whether or not people agree with you or your experts? Why can't you just be happy, believing whatever you want to believe, without feeling the need to cram it down other people's throats?
  11. The university says Notre Dame coaches were informed by Te'o and his parents on Dec. 26 that Te'o had been the victim of what appeared to be a hoax. Someone using a fictitious name "apparently ingratiated herself" with Te'o, the school said, then conspired with others to lead him to believe she had died of leukemia.
