Does Paulding County really need an Ampitheater?
NumberCruncher replied to Coppertop's Pop's topic in RECENT TOPICS
Benefield plays at Mableton Rocks every year are the Amp in Mableton. The CD release party is being held at the Carrollton Amp on Aug 8th. The idea of getting out of the smokey bars and venues appeals to many artists and fans. Being able to throw family friendly events and draw bigger crowds is a huge plus for amphitheaters. Does Paulding need one before they get a reservoir? I don't think so. But if we get one, I'll promote the crap out of any and all festivals that are booked! -
Haha! Not. Seriously, I am so very proud of how hard these guys have worked on this CD. Its been a year and a half of recording and gigging in crap hole bars...but big things are starting to happen.

is anyone else listening?

Its been renamed the July Firefly Festival. And I'm not gonna make it to the station tonight. Familial obligations.

the Firfly? pretty sure. Foos McCoy is scheduled to be there as well, so it'll just be a big ol throw down.

it's definitely been a long hard road....but an hysterically funny one to travel. i've played roadie, light tech, back up singer, merch girl, pr manager, stage medic, lyric collector, bartender, social cam back ground boobs, stage mom, therapist, seamstress, crowd control, and loyal fan. this band is a family. an amazingly talented one. i'm so damn proud to be a part of all the insanity.

in just a few short hours, the album "My last name" will be heard for the first time in it's entirety on internet radio. Garage71 will begin the debut at 8pm tonight. The Band Benefield will be interviewed. (and i will be sitting in the corner with tape over my mouth, so as not to be too big of a distraction.) you can GO HERE to listen, if you'd like. (right now they're playng some pretty hard/weird stuff....but i promise The Band Benefield is totally normal Southern Rock) then tomorrow night, Dustin and i will be at Wild Bills opening for a friend. y'all are all welcome

I'm making changes. I'm putting my life back together. Also, the new album plays tomorrow night on Garage 71, for the first time in its entirety. Good things are coming.

Vinings just keeps trying to creep closer and closer to the hood, lol. -

i have an issue with 'sin', as it relates to our laws. it's not illegal to be fat, but it's a sin. it's not illegal t be homosexual, but it's a sin. it's not illegal tobe a liar, but i's a sin. it's not illegal to say zeusmit, but it's a sin. if a sin is a sin is a sin, then why don'tany of thereligiou minded folks have any interest in making laziness illegal??? -

Um. Walmart has already severed their relationship with Paula. Funny how you'll endorse/accept one type of bigotry, but not another. -

Dammit. I can't upload photos here from my phone. I've got a great one of my girlfriend leading me around by my choke collar at Thunder Beach. Would love for someone to try and spill my blood over the publishing of my perversions. -

Low's clothes won't fit me yet. still need to lose the rest of this 'baby weight'. lol
