that's the one i'm speaking of. and i wouldn't decorate my dog house from there, let alone a guest room. but they did have cheap beach towels last summer. by cheap i mean every time you washed them or dried yourself off with them, the colors ran. and they unraveled if you dried them in the dryer. but hey, they were only 3.99 so who cares about quality, right?

i'm leaving work at 2 today. mostly because i don't have heat in my office, but partly because i don't wanna go to jail for smashing in the mouth of the uppity british punt who has taken over the finance dept. not so much to do with the weather, but a shortened day none the less that can be blamed on the impending snow.

the only person i know to ask is 'lady that kicks'. she's a member here and has a school. i know nothing about it, but think it's a great idea for exercise and discipline.

i could understand hoarding useful things. gold. toothpaste. condoms. gas. but not past their expiration date. and certainly not trash. who hoards trash? what good will a stockpile of nasty old mcdonalds wrappers do you in the Y2K? (yes, i realize the Y2K was really no big deal, but it's why i began hoarding the above mentioned items)

that was before my time. but i do remember that it snowed the winter of 2001-2002. my exhusband had picked up our kids form my house in new orleans and was driving back to virgina and had to stop for three days at my dad's here in dallas. pretty awkward. the kids made a tiny snowman on the deck out back. i'm sure the weather wasn't all that terrible here, but was pretty freakin bad from here to va.

paulding won't be on the list. they're confirmed open tomorrow. should they decide later tomorrow to dismiss early, you'll be notified via telephone. whatever early dismissal plan you have on file with the school will be followed.

wouldn't proactive had been to go ahead and make the call to dismiss early, instead of using the 'wait and see method'. perhaps i'm getting stuck on the semantics.
