you're not getting an extra hour of anything. the sun will come up and go down according to its own schedule. just because the government mandates that you call it a different time, doesn't gain you anything.
-
I hate it. and it makes no sense at all.
-
ass. i can't eat pasta anymore.
-
um, no. it places it on the illegals who aren't paying taxes in the first place, but who are buying goods.
-
I'm suspicious of folk who put the G on darlin'. in fact, I have an aversion to most hard Gs

I don't own one, but will never pass up the chance to nibble should someone nearby be cooking on one!

omg. if you'd ever eaten anything that was cooked on the egg..........so freaking goooooooood!

markdavid, I get your point. but the way I see it, they're only 'driving' certain customers to big box stores, under certain circumstances. if I need an emergency part after aces hours, of couse I'll go to a different store. however, my emergencies occur far less frequently than my planned shopping. I applaud ace for having hours that allow their employees to be home, with their families, for homework and bedtime with theiir kids. you can choose to shop wherever you'd like, for what ever reason. I will choose to support ace, as often as I can.

I'm no help with shoes. I either wear flops, or cowboy boots. girly stuff intimidates the crap outta me!

and after you reported them, they continued to receive benefits? perhaps they are olny abusing the system from your perspective? anyway. i hate kids. almost all of them. but i will not begrudge one a sandwich, or a check up, or an education. i'm just not that hateful.
-
...to no avail.
-
Do you agree, though, that if a person has specific or first hand knowledge of someone abusing the system, they should report it?
-
again...if you know people who are abusing the system, please report them. why vent on a message board to strangers instead of helping to be a part of the solution by speaking with the DOL and or the foodstamp/peachcare folks?
-
why am i being rude? please go back and re-read your original post. and then take in to consideration that just because you are angry with a specific family member, it doesn't mean that you need to attack everyone who is on unemployment or accepting government help. the programs that are in place have guidelines to follow to determine eligilibity. if the program finds someone eligible, why is it up to you to agree or disagree? if you think, or happen to know, that someone is committing fraud against a program, please report it. that's the best way to help stop it from happening

well, if she meets the qualifications for unemployment, and food stamps, and peachcare..........
