yep. it's a service you sign up for. i think it's an extra 4.95 a month or something.

AT&T lets you set timer controls. for texting, phone calls, all sorts of stuff. i used to have my kid on lockdown from 11pm-7am then again from 8am-3:30pm during the week. no texting/calling all night. no texting/calling while in school. of course. you can set the phone so that it will still call or text you, or 911 or whatever, regardless of the time. safety first and all that crap.
