  1. for real. I read the thread title and started running, spastically around the house! the op owes me dinner and a movie for that...
  2. mini raviolis and townhouse crackers.
  3. it doesn't look like the handwashing sink had much to do with it at all... read the remarks at the bottom of the form.
  4. while this may be sound advice for some....i'd like to skip the parts about mental illness, physical illness, and racism...and go straight to the drinking and understanding. thank you eddie. for being a friend.
  5. since when does anyone need an invitation to my house?
  6. i have class. y'all go ahead. call Cletus and let him know what time. i think he's gonna smoke ribs today or something. it'll be after 6 before i get home, but your room is ready. (don't look at the rest of the house though) great. now everyone is judging me for having a dirty house. and cletus for having two wives. i can't win!!!
  7. when you are (un)fotunate enough to be married to me.....you often only get half the story. regardless of whether or not it's the good half, or the bad half, when combined with what's read on the internet, opinions definitely do get formed. there are people i love that Cletus don't give a flip about. People i dilike that he thinks are awesome. And people i rarely mention except in passing...that cletus is instantly suspicious of. not saying that any of this is the case in point. hopefully...we'll all see more activity out of the OP. y'all will get to know him not only as my better
  8. my damn youngin was looking forward to her first trip to NYC this weekend. sigh. I hate to break her heart, but I'm going to forbid her to go.
  9. from wiki The Foxconn suicides occurred between January and November, 2010, when eighteen[1] Foxconn employees attempted suicide with fourteen deaths.[1][2][3] The suicides drew media attention, and employment practices at Foxconn, a large contract manufacturer, were investigated by several of its customers.[4] Foxconn is a major manufacturer catering to famous-name brands including Dell, Sony, Motorola, Apple, HP and Nokia.[4][5] The suicides prompted 20 Chinese universities to compile a report on Foxconn, which they decried as a labour camp.[2] Other experts have claimed that employe
  10. my sister killed herself 5 years ago this past July. I guess that why it pisses me off so bad when drama queens post woe is me bs on their fb pages, looking for some coddling from their friends who aren't going to call authorities, but will poor baby them till they feel better about their hangnails. maybe if their friends or families would call someone, the drama queen would shut the hell up and appreciate what good friends she has. really pisses me off. it's like people who lie about having cancer....
  11. ironically enough, living in a third world country. and walmart wouldn't ship to an APO, so, it did me no good at all!!! it was either 93 or 94
  12. i didn't know that the owner of the home could carry the renter's insurance policy. i thought the renter's had to do that. i thought the owner just carried...owner's insurance. learn something new everyday!
  13. if you have a copy of the police report, forward it to your ins co. her license number and tag number are on it. she can't hide.
  14. she should also have a discussion with her insurance company about recovering the cost of repairs from the responsible party. i know that my company will go after the uninsured, pay back the deductible first, then collect whatever is owed from the repair bill.
  15. then it is simply time to buy her a new one. duh!
  16. honey, i hope that everyone who reads this, and isn't already insured...calls you up to get a policy!
  17. do you have it? why not? it breaks my heart to hear about folks losing everything, and yes, there are some things that money can't replace. but...there is insurance available to cover the cost of things that are necessary to lead a normal, comfortable life. My link renter's insurance doesn't cost a fortune. sometimes less than a dollar a day. i've rented an apartment, and a home. both leases made it mandatory for me to carry a renter's insurance policy. why wouldn't someone want to protect the things they've worked hard to buy, and/or protect themselves from liability
  18. if you have at&t...you can set time restrictions on your phone. no calls of texts from bedtime til morning...except to and from the numbers you designate.
  19. sooo...if it's posted on facebook, it should just been seen as an immature ploy for an esteem stroke? i agree.
  20. the often heard expressions of 'to die for' 'i could have died' 'i'd rather be dead don't seem to draw much alarm. usually because they're said with exclamation points. those shoes are to die for! broke the heel of my shoe and i could have died! i'd rather be dead than be seen in last seasons shoes! innocent enough, right? most of us would rather be dead than engage in public speaking, or feel like we could have died during an embarassing moment, or have something on our wish list that's to die for. no big deal. but...a little dramatic. what happens when a friend takes it a
