  1. I'm crossing my fingers and toes. Tow and Copschick are awesome people and I know they are beside themselves with grief. Thanks for posting. We wouldn't have known otherwise.
  2. Copschick just texted me back to tell me she was heading up there to look for the pup. I'm really hoping it's hers.
  3. I just read on copschick's facebook page that her dog is missing. This is her post: to all my friends in and around the Beulah, Yorkville, and Union communities...our dog, Ranger is missing. He is a small white and black Rat Terrier. Please be on the lookout for him Please repost I don't know if the dog you found is hers. I also sent a text message and posted a link to this thread in the comments section of her post. They don't live too far from Yorkville that it's implausible this is her dog. For her sake I hope it is. I know she's tore up about him missing.
  4. The most accurate weather information, in my opinion (I used to be involved with a meteorologist) is from NOAA. Most local sources are interpreting the forecasts from NOAA. My ex worked for The Weather Channel on the radio side and he swore by NOAA's site. He was usually always right as well.
  5. I'm like UnionMom...I think it's a silly holiday. But just like all the other holidays I don't celebrate, I'm glad those that do enjoy it.
  6. Jeanette/Hairazor @ Salon Rouge. The best, bar none.
  7. I tried to PM you. Clean your box out gal.
  8. Yes more details would be great. I might be interested depending on what they are looking for, when, etc.
  9. I'm not really sure what you're looking for here, but I really enjoy my career in sales. Of course for me, it's not so much the sales as it is the level of service and education I provide my clients. Working hard for my self is also a much greater joy than working hard for someone else. I could never punch another time clock, I hope I never have to.
  10. You're so sweet but I didn't know about the prop drive then. Trust me if I had I would have said something. And I didn't want to talk about the Stage Management gig just yet, because it wasn't final. It still isn't final, it's all verbal but that's just a matter of formality at this point.
  11. So can you get the Vitamin D you need from a tanning bed once a week? If so, I'm there. At least I could warm up.
  12. I saw a large White SUV (I think it was a Ford Expedition) pass two vehicles, the lead being a large dump truck, on Buchanan Hwy this morning. The idiot passed up hill on a double yellow just before the Bridge at McMichen Path. (I think I spelled that right). STUPID STUPID STUPID. I counted the seconds it took for this fool to finally get back over in front of the dump trunk and it was a full 8 seconds. Plenty of time for another vehicle to round the corner coming down the hill on the other side to not have any place to go. I can't imagine the carnage a head on in that location could have caus
  13. This is a great cause folks. I was active in the Metro Atlanta theatre scene for 10 years. I am so proud that Main Street Players is up and running. Lenay Walker deserves a HUGE ROUND OF APPLAUSE for making this happen for the community. Live theatre is good for the soul. I'm also very honored that Lenay is allowing me to work with the group. I hope it's not to early to announce but I will be Stage Managing the second Main Street Players production coming up in June. I haven't worked on a production in several years and I'm very excited to be getting my feet wet again with such a wonderful and
  14. I found two entries for either my dad or myself. Since it's only first and last name listed for both entries it could be either one of us. My only concern is that since it's the state department of revenue they might be looking for tax money due to them and I'm not willing to take the risk I under paid or something.
  15. I have a commitment tomorrow that will prevent me from making this meeting, but I do plan on trying to get to the next one. Please add me to the email list.
  16. This is so funny. I thought of him weeks ago at Kroger, I even texted him when I was in the store. I saw one of our very own commerce member's vehicle emblazoned with their company logo parked in the striped part of the handicapped spot. I think it's funny that when I see stuff like this jlh is the first person I think of. He's the dumb parking job police.
  17. I first was affected about 12 years ago. For years and years I had no idea what it was. I asked doctors, etc. no one knew what it was and everyone told me I was nuts. Then in 2005 I started seeing commercials for the drug that was supposed to help it. I've never taken the drug, but I know all too well what you're feeling. It's a horrible thing to deal with. All I can do is wish you a speedy end.
  18. HA HA...TAKE THAT LPPT!!! Portrait...I just cropped out the sides. And look, Boss Hogg says my avatar is fine. NA NA NA NA NA NA
  19. No. When I uploaded it, it showed the size and it was within the limits. How much am I over? I just checked again and I copied this directly from the upload screen: Uploaded File 100x191 Your avatar must be no bigger than 100 pixels by 200 pixels in size. Uploaded avatars from your computer must be no larger than 25 KB. The following file types are allowed: gif, jpeg, jpg, swf, png
  20. You don't know the half of it. I also know the safe word.
  21. Hey look...I figured it out. I just wish I had capitalized the part I added. Apparently I can't change it again for 365 days. Oh wait...never mind I like the way it is.
