Just one of the closings for April is an investor. The rest are mostly first time, owner occupants. The price points I find selling well are still between $75k and $125k. A large spread yes.

First of all, the local market is not all doom and gloom as some would suggest. Second of all, I know a person in his late 30s that got hired at a local grocery store two weeks after filling out an online application. Yes it's part time, yes it's not great money, but it's money to buy groceries. There are jobs, you just have to be willing to take ones you might not like. I'm busier than I've been in three years. I have seven closings scheduled for April and four active buyers that are lined up for May closings. The local inventory of homes is non-existent. There's just not a lot out there to s

Imminent Domain is the worst invasion of liberty I can imagine. I will never believe there to be a valid reason for the government to force you to sell them your land for uses that are "better for the common good." That's not a republic in which I wish to live.

This link might help...not only is it five pages of discussion on this topic from 2004, it also appears to have at least one post with links to multiple other discussions. I might be a good read for some of you. http://paulding.com/forum/index.php/topic/1577-who-wants-an-airport/ -
What about farmers whose land would be confiscated by running that pipeline? There were arguments on both sides. Do you believe in eminent domain laws?

I'm telling you, if you're looking for veggies like you would find in your Granny's kitchen, Audry's is the best place in Paulding Co. Bar none. The fried okra is amazing. So are the sweet potato patties.

Love you. I hope he's better soon. -
I always enjoy a nice fragrance. Although I do not enjoy folks who marinate in it.

I lost a belt loop in Rawhide.

I spent a whole day and night in Harrah's. But I love slots. I enjoyed the aquarium as well. My must list of places to eat are: Muriel's NOLA (the best chocolate cake on the planet) Mother's for breakfast (but be prepared to get a bloody mary and wait on line) Remolaude is great for po boys at lunch and then do dinner on the other side of the building at the swank Arnaud's. I've stayed at the Hotel Monteleone which was great. But even better was the International House on my second trip. I really enjoyed New Orleans. All of it. I'd list the fun alternative bars but I don't kno

There is a reason I don't like to go to funerals. And if I'm forced to I just refuse to look at the body. I spent hours glued to my dead grandmother at the funeral home. I was with her when she died. It was horribly traumatic. I wish now I could think of her without also thinking of how she looked in that box and how cold she was when I held her hand.

Yes. I tell everyone that Tommy and Ruth Walker are the best neighbors anyone has ever had or will ever have. I can't tell you how much I appreciate knowing they are there. Not just for watching out for me when I'm not around but they are the most generous two people you'll ever know.

Hell my neighbors called me to ask if a gray truck should be at my house. I was in the gray truck. LOL. I like that someone is watching out for me.

Y'all are funny. I'm glad you're enjoying it. I heard it aired this evening.

We too could see it from my front porch across the pasture. It was a large wedge cloud until it got behind us over toward Southern Trace. The funnel was dancing a lot. And the lightening was orange. Jimmy stood on the back porch and watched the transformers blow. It was so crazy. I know how lucky we were here. Our neighbors in Yorkville weren't so fortunate.

When I was very little we did Sunday dinner at my Great Grandmother's house after church. But at my own house my Mom rarely let a Sunday morning pass without cooking a big breakfast. My Mom cooked a lot when I was growing up. I know that's why I love to cook so much. And my favorite thing in the world is bringing comfort to people by cooking for them.
