I would not want to eat somewhere I could not wash my hands first, but that is just me. Honestly everywhere I have looked (Douglas county has advised the following also) has said not to bath and wash your hands in the water unless it has been boiled and cooled first. Who knows what is in it? Sewage? YUCK!

Georgia Food Service code applies. You can not wash your hands in contaminated (boil advisory) water. I understand that. If they wash their hands in it then touch food, utensils, etc... If they have a source of fresh water they can remain open.

Who told you that? Attendance is tied into AYP. I think they need to throw it out a window...otherwise parents will be sending their kids in sick like every year and just waiting for the nurse to call. In the meantime little Johnny or Susie has spread their germs to who knows how many others. It is a ridiculous policy based on a few bad apples that ruined it for the bunch of us.
